With the kayaking, filming and staying on the beach for a little bit it was about 5 - 6 hours total. Not sure exactly how long the kayaking part took but it was likely close to 4 hours with the stops for filming, the breaks, and conditions on the water that day (there was a really strong headwind at some point). How long did it take you to kayak from the causeway to Caladesi island?
15-20 minutes, going to the island was faster than coming back to the causeway. On the way out we were with the tide on the way in we were against it.
