About the flowers in the household inventory - those were legitimately grown by your sim, there has been a long-standing glitch, where whenever you go into build mode it auto-harvests the plants into your household inventory and then the plant has to regrow them, so that’s probably why you couldn’t harvest that often - they were all in your inventory! James had a huge issue with it in his cottage living lp.

I'm all for moving into a bigger lot, but take the house with you so that you can continue to expand it. I think that would be a really cool story line because it's the same house that the kids have grown up in but it's on a bigger lot so that you can expand it as needed.
I think moving the house to a larger lot and continue to add on to the home would be really nice. I am enjoying this LP and hope you continue to play them as a legacy family.
I think taking a picture of the old house (maybe with the parents in it as if when they first moved in together) before moving to an entirely new house (have the girls in front this time) would be the best solution. You keep the memories from the house, and tell the story of their lives growing up/together as a family rather than trying to force the house to work.
Love the house !.. An idea is move the house onto a bigger lot, keep the home. And make changes to the home as the family changes keeping with the generations vibe. 😀

I love the expansion! I bet you could scoot the whole house over to one side (the side the old fence was on) and then have enough room for yard stuff. It looks really nice as it is now.
If you pick up and move the house all the way to the left, you'll be able to use your side yard more efficiently. The side deck on the left can be omitted, and the corridor can be shut off and turned into a laundry room. I know you're in your corridor phase, but they are a massive waste of space. Could you please add the 'climb out'-window to the twins' room? Teens need the naughty escape sometimes. The side deck on the right side of the house looked a bit odd with the green hedges, they usually grow from the ground lol. But I would totally be on board if you chose to move to a different lot or build a completely new house.
You should name the baby either Valentina or Valentino as they were conceived on love day. Also there is a rose variety called Valentina and an actual plant called Acis Valentina (think that's how it's spelt)
The treehouse item is so dang big! I ended up building a treehouse on a park community lot so my child sim could hit that aspiration's treehouse requirements.
My partner just had triplets in The Sims. It's utter chaos. Got a dog as well. Somehow he got a promotion but the nanny service is a lifesaver. And the maid.

Fun story about toddlers cleaning bathtubs...when my kids were small and taking baths they would do a "Tough Stains" commercial where they would advertise this awesome product (a sponge) that would clean the bathtub like magic 😂 Our bathtub has never been as clean since they shower now 😭
that's why I can only play with long lifespan. I find that normal is also too quick and I feel that I am always rushing to get the things done that they need to age up, instead of actually enjoying other things and taking it easy and relaxed. I am happy with the new child aspirations though! I find they are quite easy to do and do quickly even on normal lifespan. I think moving would be best, i find with all the new stuff in the pack adn everything for the kids, I always need a HUGE lot just to have some backyard and more space in a house. The 30X20 lots are too tiny! BTW the begonia's are tech not a glitch, it's when the plants bug out and refresh, the harvestables go into your inventory instead.
This just proves that the Sims has SOOO much that no one knows everything about it. I have played ALL the Sims from The Sims (1) to now and own every pack, kit, etc.... but I've NEVER seen that animation with the play gym equipment! 😲 I have only rarely used it in home builds because it is SO huge. I DO like it.. and especially now with Growing Together, I wish they would do a backyard jungle gym... Maybe one of the log ones with the hideout, slide, & swings would be good & it shouldn't be hard to model & and animate, given there's already swings & slides... and the hideout would be a bit like the backyard tent. OH... and it should also have an optional sandbox instead of the ball pit.
36:13 it's a get together glitch -- mine is doing this too. it will act like you can't get to something. Saving or managing worlds can get it to go away. it's annoying, one time i couldn't get my sim to go through an archway lol

I keep getting that error notice, too, and what I'm noticing is random items seem to be disappearing from my Sim's inventory - I've lost a painting easel, two kids' bikes, university homework, and other random items. My Young Adult sim is getting ready to move out and I was having her store some items so she didn't have to re-buy them (like her bike and her easel, both of which were gifts).
The Begonia flowers glitch into the household inventory when traveling. I really thought you'd watched your boyfriend's Seasons and Cottage Living Let's Plays, because those two Let's Plays are the ones focused on gardening
I *think* that "one item removed" notification has something to do with us cleaning up after our sims and move objects. Like it looks like it disappears but really goes behind the sink and when we load back in the game recognizes it shouldn't be there.

I have same problem with new bunkbeds. It seems to be if you get top bed only and try to slot bed . If you get as set, it is fine.
