I was surprised because a generation ago only people from upper class families would become priests and bishops. It's only recently that people from all backgrounds started to be selected for priesthood. I don't where Annie gets all these stupid ideas

Ironically now it's hard for a middle class family to afford the studies of a priest. Most of them are studying with the help of sponsorship. Also the family won't get any financial benefits after this.
