You say the approximate price is $8 per unit. I have seen similar lamps in specialized stores in Paris at crazy prices, between 800 and 1000 euros. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. Like everyone else I'm in lockdown and I'll try to make a lamp in the style of the second. I have a long time a translucent plastic sheet with a green color.
