Through sin the Holy Spirit departed as Genesis 6:3-6 and there was a void left in mankind,mankind were lost,our soul taken over by worldly spirits. Do you think folk that this would be suitable for a funeral? I am the only Christian in my family and my mother is in her nineties and the day will come when her funeral will happen. I listen to songs that may open up the rest of the family without turning them off. My sister I may have to battle with to have any mention of God or Jesus at all but if I give it some thought now that will mean that I am prepared with my wishes. This song is so gentle and peaceful without being gloomy as some funeral songs can be and my mother would be taken to his sanctuary. It is all the more important as we are an estranged family I want the funeral to put to rest the past to heal and let go. So I am giving it thought now.
