    I must say thank you so much. It was very helpful. I keep going back and forth the systems and it's tiring . God help me . I'd put in more efforts and take this exam cos it mustn't pass this year abeg .😂

      Wow!!!! congrats and thanks for the encouragement words for all the people who have not take the usmle yet. yes, it is a crazy test for sure. I also used Mis ELISABETH HELEN review material's. - I studied for 1 week and scored 260. I cried too when I got my results. PASS

    You mentioned diagnosing my weak points during dedicated and focus on them. Can you please elaborate more on that?

      To do this i would usually go through my NBME self assessment analysis. It’ll say whether you’re doing poorer than most students in a certain area, the same as them, or better. So pay more attention in what you’re underperforming in. I hope this helps💕

    Can you share a little on how to study - like the basics? did you learn how to study to master the concept and question - in high school? undergrad ? What about study groups? You're right there is so many study materials out there, but if you don't know how to study and memorize - how do you know which resource(s) are best before test time or dedicated study time.

      @@AyyDee-c7t Of course, and definitely! I took both 1 and 2!! I believe step 1 only has 2 uworld self assessments, but step 2ck has 3 uworld self assessments of its own.

      I think I made a mistake in the video, I watched a lot of the Mehlman Medical review videos where he did practice questions (his channel is filled with short 5ish minute videos where he breaks down questions, and he has playlists by subject.       I read most of it (around 80% probably) but not necessarily cover to cover. Read it based on what you personally think you need

      The real exam is pass/fail, but the practice exams still give scores (UWorld gives a three numbered score, the NBME’s give an estimated % correct, and there are calculators online to convert to an estimated 3 digit score)

      8 weeks of dedicated, but i feel all the time spent getting the foundation during M1-M2 played a role as well

      Yes, but some schools are more open to international students than others so do your research. Be sure to fulfill all your premed requirements

    And which is best site to buy these book as there are many books which have fake editions 😢

      I have no idea! But I highly doubt it’s all that different tbh. I downloaded free versions online that were pretty accurate. Maybe check reddit.

      Hi! I usually study alone lol but if you’re in school currently, asking your classmates is a good place to start. If not, you’d have to seek elsewhere for other people taking the same tests. I’m not 100% sure what the options are

      If you’re not at a school that has time constraints for when to take it, it honestly depends on how you’re doing on NBME’s in your opinion. If you’re not currently passing, i’d give myself at least 1-1.5 months to work towards a passing score. But the registration process can take a while in itself. I registered before i even started dedicated studying and worked towards my test date.

    I have failed this 2 times and my emotions go in waves, i think passing SMLE STEP 1 is not meant for people like me 😭 😢 😕 😐 😔 💔 😭 😢 😕 😐 😔

      I studied with my cousin, but she spent more time on her phone than studying. Despite this, she passed the Step 1 test while I failed. When I asked her how she did it, I found out that she received help from Mr Richard.

      Trust me, never give up. After failing twice, I almost quit, but I kept going and finally got my license. I'm grateful that my friend recommended me to Mr Richard who helped me achieve my goal.

      Hi! The actual step 1 exam doesn’t report your score, but the practice tests do. There still is a minimum passing score on the real thing, they just don’t tell you your exact score
