I must say thank you so much. It was very helpful. I keep going back and forth the systems and it's tiring . God help me . I'd put in more efforts and take this exam cos it mustn't pass this year abeg .😂
I’m glad to hear it helped a bit!! Step 1 is a marathon, not a sprint, so it’ll be tiring but keep showing up for yourself every day and you will grow slowly but surely. Wishing you the best and praying for you!❤️
I'm sorry about your plight my friend but i was once in your shoes before i was recommended to Miss ELISABETH HELEN and that's how i passed My USMLE exam
Wow!!!! congrats and thanks for the encouragement words for all the people who have not take the usmle yet. yes, it is a crazy test for sure. I also used Mis ELISABETH HELEN review material's. - I studied for 1 week and scored 260. I cried too when I got my results. PASS
Really, y'all know about her Too? I even thought I was the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of USMLE Exam, Miss ELISABETH has brought me out of the trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with her.
To do this i would usually go through my NBME self assessment analysis. It’ll say whether you’re doing poorer than most students in a certain area, the same as them, or better. So pay more attention in what you’re underperforming in. I hope this helps💕
@@egwuemmanuela1548 Hi! Good luck with everything. You need to make an account on the nbme portal and purchase the self assessments www.mynbme.org/s/login/
Can you share a little on how to study - like the basics? did you learn how to study to master the concept and question - in high school? undergrad ? What about study groups? You're right there is so many study materials out there, but if you don't know how to study and memorize - how do you know which resource(s) are best before test time or dedicated study time.
Great job and congrats! You did a great job preparing which only serves you come M3 year and STEP2. I bet it must have felt nice leaving the testing center feeling confident that you passed!
Thank you!!❤️i was definitely a bit worried (i have tendencies to overthink lol) but the fact that i knew the numbers were on my side definitely helped
Hey girl, thanks for sharing your experience with us. I found your video extremely helpful. It must have felt incredible to see your scores improve and your hardwork paying off. I had a quick Q about the UWSA you took before sitting for step1. Is it UWSA1,2 or 3?
@@AyyDee-c7t Of course, and definitely! I took both 1 and 2!! I believe step 1 only has 2 uworld self assessments, but step 2ck has 3 uworld self assessments of its own.
Thank you so much for making this video. This really needs a huge like. Would you be able to give us a link where you found the HY yield Images from Mehlman medical. Thank you.
I think I made a mistake in the video, I watched a lot of the Mehlman Medical review videos where he did practice questions (his channel is filled with short 5ish minute videos where he breaks down questions, and he has playlists by subject. For the High Yield images videos, it’s actually Dirty Medicine (another great TH-cam channel) I watched. Here’s a link to that playlist th-cam.com/play/PL5rTEahBdxV54cZpVjhJKqOL6huEMW4hY.html
The real exam is pass/fail, but the practice exams still give scores (UWorld gives a three numbered score, the NBME’s give an estimated % correct, and there are calculators online to convert to an estimated 3 digit score)

Hi! I usually study alone lol but if you’re in school currently, asking your classmates is a good place to start. If not, you’d have to seek elsewhere for other people taking the same tests. I’m not 100% sure what the options are
If you’re not at a school that has time constraints for when to take it, it honestly depends on how you’re doing on NBME’s in your opinion. If you’re not currently passing, i’d give myself at least 1-1.5 months to work towards a passing score. But the registration process can take a while in itself. I registered before i even started dedicated studying and worked towards my test date.
Passing the test is a challenging and frustrating experience. I believe that it's not just about studying, but also about having God's grace to succeed.
I studied with my cousin, but she spent more time on her phone than studying. Despite this, she passed the Step 1 test while I failed. When I asked her how she did it, I found out that she received help from Mr Richard.
Trust me, never give up. After failing twice, I almost quit, but I kept going and finally got my license. I'm grateful that my friend recommended me to Mr Richard who helped me achieve my goal.
Thank you💕 I don’t completely remember but I’m 100% wearing the Smashbox Gloss Angeles lipgloss in “Traffic Jam”. I probably also have NYX Professional Suede Matte Lip Liner in “Club Hopper”. I may or may not have the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in “Poppin’ Corks” underneath the gloss
Hi! The actual step 1 exam doesn’t report your score, but the practice tests do. There still is a minimum passing score on the real thing, they just don’t tell you your exact score

LOL it’s part of the soundtrack playing in the background😂 not a ghost I promise!
should we read first aid cover to cover for step 1?
I read most of it (around 80% probably) but not necessarily cover to cover. Read it based on what you personally think you need
TYSM! Did you mean Mehlman or dirty medicine for the HY images? I can’t find any mehlman HY images videos.
Probably dirty medicine. But i also watched mehlman medical videos of him going over questions i think lol. My apologies for the confusion!
How do you know your score . I didn't that we could check for that

What was the duration of your study for the step one
8 weeks of dedicated, but i feel all the time spent getting the foundation during M1-M2 played a role as well
Is it possible for an international BSN nursing graduate to apply to US medical school?
Yes, but some schools are more open to international students than others so do your research. Be sure to fulfill all your premed requirements
