Put on your headphones for this concert... and crank it UP!! 👍This is so freaking good... I know of few live concerts that can match this stunning performance. Gilmour is a guitar prodigy! And the band and chorus are such a great match for him. Absolutely Amazing! 💛💛 From Screaming Hard Rock to Beautiful Ballads, Pink Floyd does it All!
Man, when Great Gig starts, with Richard playing and the "I'm not afraid of dying ... you gotta go sometime" I was in tears. Why did he leave us so early, the 2006 tour finally brought him so much joy and recognition from the crowd. Would have loved to see what he could have done, either another solo record or with David. He brought so much soul into the band
Not afraid of dying is one the bands roadies & helper n he's Irish and i understand exactly what it alludes to . I used to know another roadie who gave us all great insight into Floyd n said forget Pink he's gone ..hilarious. but it's an in house story so hhmmm . Best of plants aswel . Aren't we lucky to have lived thru it all & seen n felt the reality of their songs play out in real life. As he casually leans on the bar , he can hide hide hide behind ??? Take care .
I purchased the VHS tape back in the late 80s. Life was good. Pink Floyd is was one of those bands that influenced lives for the good. Not many groups out there that did that.
Well all's I can tell you is I still have the VHS tape. This is pretty amazing cuz it gives you more of the screen than the VHS did. On the VHS didn't have signs of life on it and that part of the show. It was a very good introduction after Shine On You Crazy diamond.

This was another great concert video- I lived through this period of time after- Vietnam - but Lord I don’t know how I missed this , “NOW- LEGENDARY MUSIC”, I can’t explain‼ I’m 70y/o now and happy it’s still here for me to enjoy‼ It’s like a documentary to watch the videos from the days gone by… to the videos of today with the remaining band members , (RIP- to those who have passed) - Amazing to see that David Gilmour , can still make his “fretboard” - a big “GIANT BLUR”🎸- he may have aged but his fingers are as young as EVER ‼ Thanks to the person that put this video here for all to see👏- love❤it 💥‼
I stumbled on this video last week and was dumbstruck by Dogs of War! Well done and so timely !!!!! I'm 71 and just rediscovering Pink Floyd. My brother had a head injury when he was 14 and I was 12. HE started listening and we all thought he was the crazy one.
Me Too. I listened to Dark side of the Moon , and Wish you were here, for days and days. That music saved me. Got me thru depression, and on to to 40 years on the road, ten Gold records. And five platinum😊 Without Pink Floyd, I wouldn’t have made it. Thank you. 🙏🏻 🇩🇰🙋🏻♂️
Man, I envy you sooo much... I had the chance to see Gilmour in Poland in Gdańsk back in 2006 but I couldn't afford it (was a student). Seeing them live must be a magical expierence...
Duplicating studio performance live in concert can be hard to do. But Pink Floyd always nailed it. And the backup singers.....those girls really brought it on the Great Gig in the Sky. Oh they did a great job throughout, but they really delivered when it mattered. 👏👏👏
Floyd's one of the best without a doubt. Look what it takes to duplicate their records. Another guitar player or two, a percussionist and more keys. Rush. 3 same guys on the records, 3 same guys on stage for over 40 years.
Coming back to life !!!!! This music calms my mind and body. There's still hope that decent music still lives in all of us who love this master band. There's nothing else that compares to this.
It’s incredible out he pierces the silence with his guitar and everybody else joins in great musicians. My favorite concert I attended what memories. Thanks
I was extremely lucky to see this amazing gig in Sydney as a 17 year old. Now all these years Pink Floyd will be the one of the greatest bands ever past, present and future. There all musical genius so sad Richard Wright left us so early and soon,Dave Gilmour his probably plays with more feel and emotions then any guitarist a timeless prodigy and I think Nick Mason is going me of the best drummer's ever and doesn't get the notice he deserves,a truly phenomenal band.
I was lucky to watch this concert twice . Speechless With Gilmour reaching highest milestone on his dream career one of kind. Saw him later in my friends restaurant in NY before the concert and amazing to see such a humble and gracious giant. Best ever in our times Chapeau
I really really love David's smile he can break a wild Horse in seconds with just his smile. Just goes to show you powerful David is in Pink Floyd! They all are Richard Wright on the keys Darn he was great! " David Gilmour said, in a quote, Pink Floyd doesn't exist without Richard Wright!" You are missed by so many Fans!
Timeless music... Took my my son to a local star observatory and they projected a concert in the star dome room. Fantastic. My son is still a big fan...
I was too young to appreciate Pink Floyd in it's original form. Of course I knew of the band, but had it not been for David Gilmore's decision to put out new albums and tour in the late 1980s and early 1990s, I never would have had the chance to experience a live Floyd show, which I ultimately did in 1994 in Madison, Wisconsin. Look, I cherish and appreciate Roger and David and their contributions, but it was David who extended the gifts of this band to one more generation and I will forever be grateful for that. Not to mention Learning to Fly was glorious in its own right
Just Epic. Everytime I come back to this album (Delicate Sounds of Thunder) and everytime I am satisfied. I am reminded that there is beauty in life. All emotions and experiences... you can't get this magic in much of the music today. Not like this. Not LIVE. You have to be a true master, like David Gilmore and company. Epic.
Saw the Wembley Gig on this tour, weather perfect, and the flower/mirrorball bit during the guitar solo on Comfortably Numb still sticks in my brain as one of the best moments I've ever experienced at a live concert. The technology involved, including the design of the thing, was exceptional. It was almost extra-terrestrial.
I had a similar experience in Massachusetts outdoors the laser show through the rain was outta this world.... best live show... On a grand scale and yet touched me personally... One of those days we pass on to whomever deserves the telling! Right on! LLT Middletown, CT
I thought I should give an honourable mention to Nick Mason whos passion after belting those drums for most of his life, the passion and enthusiasm he shows is fucking awesome. He still loves what he does and no doubt he will bash those drums as hard as he is able until he drops. RESPECT TO YOU NICK. ALL FLOYD PURISTS LOVE U BROTHER. AS WE DO RICHARD WRIGHT , GOD BLESS HIS SOUL. RIP RICK. YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND, AND WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. WISH HE WAS HERE, STILL SWIMMING IN THE FISH BOWL OF THE MORTALS, SUCH A BIG LOSS, EVEN YEARS LATER.
And Richard Wright , the unsung makers of the heartbeat of Floyd yet nobody remembers what a stubborn man who played The Wall for 40yrs was . Who else is behind the magic but Nick & Richard plus Gilmore , they would've evolved so much until Roger went stagnant. Pity . But we'll enjoy no end the one of a kind band they we're/ are . Take care.
Well......I was there, The best time of my life, 18 years old then, a teen in the 80's and always will thank God for that chance, the change of being present in that fantastic decade, and again I was in this concert, on top of things!!
🔝 It's June 2022 listening to this masterpiece of art,It seems to me that It came out today It never goes out of style ( Pink Floyd true masterpiece of art,/ of all time)🎸🎧🌏
You're right! At the very first concert I ever attended, Alice Cooper, in '73 I ended up next to an interesting pair of people. The Coliseum was of course packed. But I saw a small space in the section of seats for the press. I ducked and wove my way there and squeezed in. I almost couldn't believe my eyes! I was next to this beautiful, extravagent woman. She was with a hippy sort of guy who I learned later was a journalist. She had on this full length silver sequin or lurex or something halter top dress with a long feather boa. She had an amazing head of frizzy wavy blond hair, big platform silver sandals and heavily made up eyes (think Edie Sedgewick). I was only thirteen, from the working class town of Tacoma. I had never seen anyone like her in real life. She smiled big at me and scooted over so i could sit. We sat on the press box table during the whole show. They shared their pot with me. It was wonderful. The guy was some big journalist she later whispered to me. I didn't care. She was the glitter for me, until Alice came on, that is. He was amazing. Unfortunately that was the show he got arrested at for obscenity. Not hip at all. I was so embarrassed for the Pacific Northwest. Oh, I saw Pink Floyd, too in like 1975. It was the tour for Shine on You Crazy Diamond. Unfortunately no crashing giant pig, And that was a wild set of circumstances that got me there. But that's another story!

Ain't that just a god damn fact 😊❤ 100 % . Am going to see Roger waters next month and I cannot wait 😊. But I am dying to see Gilmour cause he is on another level. Both Roger and David are legends in thier own right but different but as good as the other.. Roger was the pen king but Gilmour is the king of the axe and situar!! I get goosebumps listening to Gilmour tho with that unique husky voice !@
This is grand, brings me back to the best times for music, what a generation to be part of. There will never be another like it, they were innovative, great ensemble of musicians. Thanks HDPinkFloyd for posting this wonderful concert. David Gilmore shines on. Sadly, RIP R. Wright and S. Barrett, you are missed. Happy Christmas to all. 🎄🎇💗
Wasn't it though! Was just thinking of the same thing awhile back that the innovation and musicianship that, that generation brought us just isn't matched this day and age! And you have to wonder, with all the new technology that is available these days, why hasn't there been a 2021 version of a band on the same level as Pink Floyd? Don't get me wrong though, there are some fine musicians up and coming and I'll commend anyone that try to make a living in music or to become an artist in any field. Sometimes I really hate the computer age lol! Merry Christmas! Stay safe!
@@gph3364 Agree that there are some fine musicians, but a Band of this caliber, class and innovation, in my opinion, cannot be again! Could be wrong! Times are different, gone by and lost is the age of innocence, gone with grace and sadly, what has replaced them! Delusions of grandeur! They were unique, I'm happy to have lived during the generation that brought us all these great Bands. D. Gilmore, my go to, for great guitar playing; exceptional guitar player and vocals. Awesome memories will never fade, I get nostalgic for the times gone by, this music takes me there. Happy Christmas!
Seeing Pink Floyd live was NOT a concert. It was a 'spectacle'! My lucky Dad worked at Air Canada so saw part of their show in the huge Hangar for 3 weeks WOW!
It's Christmas 2022 and I've seen them 4 times beginning in 1974 with Dark Side of the Moon in San Francisco and ending with The Wall in L.A. One of the greatest bands I've ever seen along with the Stones and Led Zeppelin! 😊💖❤🧡💚💙💜
You're very fortunate. I only discovered the beauty and skill of their music in around 2005.....I'd travel to the Moon (No pun intended) Just to see them live once! I listen to their music almost daily. But more the old stuff. Dark Side of the Moon and Echoes are my favourites.....
Keep coming back to this - remastered version heightens the pleasure - Best concert I have ever seen - best line up and backing singers in my opinion - I often wonder where are and what they are doing now - great moment at the end of the concert when Margaret blows that cheeky kiss to the camera.
I saw Pink Floyd twice, Both times in Indianapolis. I think the first time was 1988. I won tickets from a radio station and I took my GF and my sister who had never met before and that did not go well. The second time was 1994 when I went with a woman I worked with and i had a bit of a crush on. She liked me as well, but it didn't pan out. Both shows were wonderful. Then I saw Roger Waters at Deercreek in Fishers, IN. that was outstanding. I took my friend Ross Buskirk Chumley. Yes,.. the Buskirk Chumley who donated a million dollars to have the Indiana Theater in Bloomington renovated. IT's a great 900 seat venue now.
Looking back at those days now I believe so. Graduated in 1980 and had the World by the tail. All these years later and the World had turned around, chased me down and ran me over. Such is life and I'm grateful for everything both good and bad. Seemed like the 80's and 90's everyday was an adventure with none stop experiences.
L’un des meilleurs concerts que j’ai vu. De plus, les choristes sont au top et le saxo se la donne à fond. Bravo. Bel ensemble avec Les Floyd’s. A renouveler. Tank you. ❤
Since I was in my teens, in Detroit, Michigan, I have had the most surreal experiences witnessing their pure genius ❤️ ♥️. To this day, I continue follow David Gilmore + Roger Waters. Need I say more? We are blessed to still have such wonderful talent within our Lives. CHRISTINA
What could be better than watching a live concert of your favorite band playing some of your favorite songs.....It has to be watching the incredible Rachel Fury in a tight little black dress dancing and singing alongside your favorite band playing some of your favorite songs. Many thanks to those who restored and remastered this classic!!!
@@kingadaroad6595 Not at all - He separated from his first wife during that tour, the rumor was because of an affair he was having with one of the backing singers.
In this world now lost and almost at the end of the total destruction of our life we are left with a great musical work of these fantastic artists unique in the world and of all times and who knows if the next generations of the future that will survive someone will have kept an archive of all the albums of PINK FLOYD transmitting it into space. Infinite as they are immortal for all the centuries without end and there is no suitable term anything we would say always has a limit for us humans Bravissimi all the members of the band and especially the chorus of these girls Great in the harmony of all the songs I can't find words and phrases what I felt in my heart I wrote it can never be erased
I can never get enough of Pink Floyd, their concerts are full of feeling and expression. Music that burns a place in your brain that never leaves. Their music lasts forever, love them. Gives me rushes, gives me dreams from the past, and leads me to places not yet seen. Thanks to the dream makers!
Absolutely fantastic! I was totally captivated throughout. The Floyd are all about their message though, so the platform should want to provide very accurate Closed Captions for them. I wonder why they haven't . . . There are a couple of generations who didn't memorize all the words to their songs, and they are really who the messages are for.
Ok with you, even if the Pink Floyd make music for all generation. Even if their messages is 'visionnaire' ( sorry for my english...I am french) Have a good Time! This music IS an 'antidepresseur'😅
My besty, and I , we got tickets to see the magnificent Pink Floyd 31 years ago!!! We were 18 years old, now months from 50 they are timeless. We had 2 days in Amsterdam, then on to Fenyord Stadium Rotterdam to be blown away in awe. Sadly my best friend took his life several months back, and he personally listened daily to Pink Floyd (stoned erm YEAH) . Even listening to the intro im in floods of tears, took me ages to listen to them again as I would instantly weep. However, my tears as I write are returning to tears of joy and a heart of gratitude and thankfulness to be allowed the priviledge to hear such a beautiful band play live. For what this band does to ones soul and life stays with you, it is so beautiful, and secondly, im thankful to have shared one of both our greatest memories, full of experiences, and mostly with such a loving friend. Love you dude! and thanks for sharing and leaving those memories with me me ❤seeing our all time favourite band!!!! Shine on Polo. Love!!!! ❤🎉❤🎉

These guys don't put on a rock show they perform a gargantuan spectacle I feel very lucky indeed to have grown up in a generation where this kind of stuff was taken for granted I guess we just didn't realize that genius was a limited commodity
BEAUTIFUL. STUNNING. LIFE DEFINING. I haven't received the gift of faith (in a deity), but this, live, is the closest thing to extascy I've ever experienced. Seen this twice, live and it is just.... EPIC. Shine On, Syd.

One word of advice "Teachers Leave Them Kids Alone".
Man watching this Nassau Stadium Concert show that was a 5 day seellout brought back tears of joy and regret. Working this tour in 87 & again in 88 was a life highlight. I loved Rachel Fury. Those girls moved so cool. The sax guy was a riot and basist was dynamite. R.I.P. RICHARD... ITS OVER... DID TAMPA AND MIAMI IN 94 WITH THE DIVISION BELL ALSO. IM A SHADOW OF THAT ME TODAY... Thank you JESUS AND GOD FOR AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE WORKING SECURITY FOR SO MANY INCREDIBLE BANDS IN THE 80''s AND EARLY 90's. SEX N DRUGS N ROCKIN ROLL WAS ALL MY BODY CRAVED.
Drove down to Providencce, RI with a sign in my window needing two tix. Guy pulls up next to me on Route 95 and sold me the tickets in the middle lane of the freaking highway. Shaking so bad, I could hardly work the clutch the rest of the way to the show. Amazing concert.

Yeah, I used to have the VHS tape. This was a lot better than "Pulse".
Well all's I can tell you is I still have the VHS tape. This is pretty amazing cuz it gives you more of the screen than the VHS did. On the VHS didn't have signs of life on it and that part of the show. It was a very good introduction after Shine On You Crazy diamond.

Saw them in 73 at winterland an evening with pink Floyd im 69 now still the best concert I ever saw
This was another great concert video- I lived through this period of time after- Vietnam - but Lord I don’t know how I missed this , “NOW- LEGENDARY MUSIC”, I can’t explain‼
I’m 70y/o now and happy it’s still here for me to enjoy‼
It’s like a documentary to watch the videos from the days gone by… to the videos of today with the remaining band members , (RIP- to those who have passed) - Amazing to see that David Gilmour , can still make his “fretboard” - a big “GIANT BLUR”🎸- he may have aged but his fingers are as young as EVER ‼
Thanks to the person that put this video here for all to see👏- love❤it 💥‼
Could not have said better myself! Rock of the age’s
I stumbled on this video last week and was dumbstruck by Dogs of War! Well done and so timely !!!!! I'm 71 and just rediscovering Pink Floyd. My brother had a head injury when he was 14 and I was 12. HE started listening and we all thought he was the crazy one.
Pink Floyd is the best it heals you heart and soul and your body.
When I became an conceptual and abstract thinker Pink Floyd's music became the best way for me to relax and enjoy myself naturally!!
Awesome , Me to....
Rock On 🤘
How did you become a conceptual and abstract thinker?

This song has blessed my soul and gotten me through some tough times. He is bigger than anything that you go through!!!

Pink Floyd is and always has been my favorite band. Their music is great. I've been a fan since my early teens back in the early 70s.
EXACTLY! Same with me my friend.
Yes my friends. Pink Floyd is forever
and every time in my heart( from the middle of the 70's.) Nice greetings from Berlin South /Jorge 61/61 :-)
Me Too. I listened to Dark side of the Moon , and Wish you were here, for days and days. That music saved me. Got me thru depression, and on to to 40 years on the road, ten Gold records. And five platinum😊 Without Pink Floyd, I wouldn’t have made it. Thank you. 🙏🏻 🇩🇰🙋🏻♂️

I can't even express what talent this man has .
FUCK YESSS.A MUSICAL GOD WHO STANDS ALONE AS THE BEST EVER.
Duplicating studio performance live in concert can be hard to do. But Pink Floyd always nailed it. And the backup singers.....those girls really brought it on the Great Gig in the Sky. Oh they did a great job throughout, but they really delivered when it mattered. 👏👏👏
Every time I watch this video, I am amazed at the girls' physical fitness to be able to do that dance routine and backing vocals for over 2 hours!
Floyd's one of the best without a doubt. Look what it takes to duplicate their records. Another guitar player or two, a percussionist and more keys.
Rush. 3 same guys on the records, 3 same guys on stage for over 40 years.
I never get tired of this recording of Comfortly Numb. Probably the best
Best ever in our times

I really really love David's smile he can break a wild Horse in seconds with just his smile. Just goes to show you powerful David is in Pink Floyd! They all are Richard Wright on the keys Darn he was great! " David Gilmour said, in a quote, Pink Floyd doesn't exist without Richard Wright!" You are missed by so many Fans!
300 years from now this music will still rule.... 💯
And still give me the chills.

Not to mention Learning to Fly was glorious in its own right
🌏 Absolutely Pink Floyd..the best band rock.. of all time 🎸🔝
Epic.
I keep coming back... earphones on... My 2 hours of therapy..stress reliever... the best fabulous music there ever was ..is right here 🎶 💙
Been listening to P Floyd since I was a teen. Seems long ago yet not .. I'm old now but still in love w/their music
Same here, Wembley on a really warm summer evening,
Pink Floyd is great.
Lucky bastard :-)
Same thing, Pulse tour played whole Darkside of the moon Vancouver Canada 💫💫
WISH HE WAS HERE, STILL SWIMMING IN THE FISH BOWL OF THE MORTALS, SUCH A BIG LOSS, EVEN YEARS LATER.
well said bro! Drummers need more attention! Without nick there would be heart beat!
Always!!!
😭. I miss Richard. Still love the Floyd, plus love the grit and determination of Roger Waters ❤

It's amazing how music brings people together from all walks of life, I saw Pink Floyd in 1993, greatest band of all time.
Same 1993 in Rotterdam. ❤🎉

Ever since the first time I heard Pink Floyd , they are totally FANTASTIC. LOVE THEIR MUSIC. ALWAYS. Thank you all for your wonderful works.
