My ♥️ goes out to the wonderful people of Wilkes Barre Pa. Thank goodness no one was hurt or killed. It'll be no until this wonderful City will be up and running again. My family and I saw it on our local news here in the Motor City and we were devastated. Keep your spirits up!!! We love you ♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍
As a resident of Wilkes Barre, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support. It's because of people like you that we're up and running again!
This video shows how beautiful our area is. The tornado did a lot of damage but nobody was killed and thank God for that but we do have beauty in this area.
know this post is 2 months old and I'm not to sure if you're from the area or not but kidder st is in Wilkes Barre, Pa and is home to pretty much our entire shopping area. The street itself had very minimal damage. Most of it was in the two of the shopping plazas we have here
How high up did you fly? Love the almost perfect line the damage makes, has to be a tornado. I was going to be there this morning and had programmed flights at 400 feet, but wasn't sure about other drones in the area. If the wind wasn't so high today (17 mph on 6/14/18) I would have been there. I'm using a P3S and have yet to fly it in higher wind speeds of 15+ mph. I didn't know where to launch from that I wouldn't be hassled by emergency crews or police. I first thought the Wyoming Valley Mall, but then changed it to Toys R Us. I'm going to fly over on Friday instead, that should have all the drones trying to get info for the news, cleared out. Plus, I don't think the businesses will have everything fixed so soon ;) Nice job with flying along the path, shows a lot!
I saw that WCAU helicopter in another video, it was definitely below 400 feet! I'm glad I waited, I couldn't imagine the "s**t storm" if I had hit a helicopter over a disaster area! It would just more ammo to be used against drone use everywhere. F2 Tornado was confirmed. Did you get anything on the Weather Channel? I can't tell who's is who's without the credits on the video.

I did one pass at about 350 and one around 200. I got there early enough to avoid air traffic. It did get busy later. There were even helicopters!
