I worked in the car business for a long time and you are absolutely correct. Sometimes you have to wheel and deal. And you have to do things that might not be exactly the way you normally would do them to make a deal Go through and you're usually doing it to help the customer out. But obviously it benefits you to get the sale to go through as well. Ultimately of course you still have to have Business ethics and if it were me, I would keep a copy and a signed piece of paper for every decision that you make with a customer especially if it's something like this.

About a week later she starts texting me about alleged damages, I text her back pictures of her pristine apartment. She would've 100% tried to screw me with the deposit and try to claim I never paid my last month. The paper trail makes it very obvious that I paid my last month and got my deposit back.
You shouldn't need to look up things like this on Your phone. You probably should make sure you have a hard copy of any important paperwork. When it comes to the sale of an automobile. it's a pretty serious purchase, And that just makes sense.
