This was our problem. We know a fair amount of Disney, but we don't know *every* movie. Clues are also tougher because there is less room for lateral thinking. Disappointing experience; we'll stick to regular Codenames.
Bit of a shame they just used screenshots from the movies. I know kids will still enjoy it but it just seems a little cheap to me for such a gigantic company as Disney.
tbspaceship I think having someone redraw classics like Snow White or Pinocchio could have had a big backlash from many fans. The original artwork is already so iconic I can definitely understand the decision to go with it. Of course that could just be my family of Disney enthusiasts. :-)
“Sphere two” for blue. Because Mike is a sphere and not only is Joys head a sphere as well but she deals with memory spheres.
Well 'Pocahontas' is definitely a clever clue for Pocahontas... :)
Really like Codenames, looking forward to adding this one to my collection
I think it is only cool if you know a lot of the movies to give more complex clues.

Does anyone know what are the games below Dragon's gold on the shelft on the left of the screen ? =D
I'm pretty sure it's Queen's Necklace, by the two Brunos. Very good game.
Thank you ! This box has nothing to do with the french edition by Days of Wonders :o
(And I found the one below, it's 7-card slugfest)
And so the avalanche begins...
S-sellout...? I mean even an approved is a stretch here and I'm a big codenames fan

This is kind of a baffling comment. What else would you use for a Disney-themed Codenames?
I'm usually with you on this for live action shows and movies. But for Disney Codenames I think this is fine!
Sorry, Tom, but Codenames is horrible.
Sure, I get you think that. And many agree. But really, hundreds of thousands disagree. :)

What makes you say that? I've played the original Codenames with anywhere from 4-10 people and it's always been a hit.
In games like this it's all about the players.
People who can't find enjoyment in a game like Codenames, usually aren't very fun people to play with.
