Got a Yamaha Genuine Accessories Rack - 40k miles and 10 years - and still works functionally and never broken. You lose your handles due to the attachment points but the rack is truly quality - and you can grab the rack. I buy quality - a few extra bucks is worth it.
I believe I just put the first amazom rack you showed on my xt250. Came with 0 directions? I mounted mine right in the grab handle holes. Those little black spacers you had under the grab handles, go between the rack and the frame, but only in the front. I also had to remove the helmet lock, and do some minor trimming on the bikes plastics, less then 1/8" shaved off a corner so the bolt would fit. But it is solid and a rock. I wonder if they are breaking because they aren't installed properly, because there are no directions..
Rear preload is the only suspension adjustment on the XT250. There is a ring on the rear shock you move up or down. It's in your owners manual ... Some people say they can get a driver onto that ring and hit it with a hammer to move it so they don't have to take anything off to get at it ... I didn't even try doing that and had a bike mechanic do it for me when I had the value clearance checked.
You'll find it on webike japan japan.webike.net/ ... search on XT250 and you'll find all kinds of accessories for the Mtn Goat that are not readily available from a US retailer.

I think I'm going to order the side racks too. Just watched your adv mod video again. :-)
Retaining the grab handles is important - it’s how I move my bike in storage. Hard to find a rack so far. Enjoy your channel. Subbed..

My Immix rack was mounted directly into the grab handle holes. The grab handles were relocated by attaching them to the rack.
How can I set the suspension sag on my 2017 XT250 I’m having a little trouble?
