What a fantastic race. No runaway winner. There was always action throughout the field. Guys were falling off and coming. Tons of action to watch. Super quick race. Limited cautions. This was a TEXTBOOK NASCAR race that won’t get remembered. But this, this is why I watch.
@@NASCAsual No... once a car got in front all it had to do was be on the same line as the car behind him. Had you watched the race you would have noticed that.... they talked about it ad nauseam. Truex Jr was lying about it too, right?
Those few laps they were racing three wide for the lead were incredible! And super impressive drive by Kyle to get back to the top ten after multiple issues.
Props to the safety worker at the Stage 2 restart who could see that Blaney wasn't getting away from that wall and was already jogging his way to the truck to help him out seconds before there was even an impact.
Its little thing but its something i just noticed, NBC sound guys are much better and making this more excited, When Jr is talking over the restart it got me going a bit. Fox isolates the race from the commentary to much
You didn’t miss much, long green flag runs meant follow the leader. 5.5 seconds back to 3rd. 9 seconds back to 5th place. 12 seconds back to 7th.. Snooze fest 🥱
That 3 wide move to pass Aric and the 51 was the race sealing move. Loved the race today. Lots of great racing throughout. Let's keep going here. Let the Fairgrounds take another date from another SMI track. This track is too good to abandon.
I was fighting tears for a moment I was so happy when Ross won! I started watching nascar again late last year for the championship race after not watching in so many years and I hadn't saw ross yet win and to see that it made me so happy! I root for Ross Chastain and Kyle Busch so I'm really glad they are both doing so well! 🥳
Ross Chastain is hated by a lot of people but not by this guy . I love his driving style , just like Dale Sr. “you don’t get out of my way, I will move you out of my way”. We are watching the new age INTIMIDATOR Let’s Goooo Ross !!!
Ross delivering a clean race was amazing. He had a high awareness, especially in that 3-driver battle. Side by side, but im glad he didnt bump into Byron or Martin
To myself and my opinions, this by far is the best race of the year, especially seeing how the 3 wide racing for 3 continuing laps, it shows that if you have patience instead of having a big head about yourself, it can be really competitive 😀
Ross winning was great to see!!!! It was alright but this series has changed and seems alot like an IROC race (if you can remember back that far) with just more cars............😎😎
NBC show is just so *refreshing* after half a year of mike getting grumpy with people on twitter, clint getting bored and camera following the leader for 15 unbroken minutes
@@user-kj7nw4zg1y How did he make a mistake? Harvick cannot control cutting down a tire. Stewart Haas Racing has been struggling but Harvick has been top 5 in points. So, maybe you did not notice. Harvick's back right rear tire was the one that got cut down. That has nothing to do with Chastain winning. What are you even talking about? You are saying his losing a front tire during a post-race burnout is proof of how he won the race? You are wasting my time because you clearly do not have any idea what the hell you are talking about.
@@DevinEMILE I agree, these issue's have plagued Nascar for decades. It is impossible to create the perfect package to satisfy all the fans wants and meet driver needs. Trust me I am no fan of this new car, but it is what it is at this point!
LETS GO ROSS!!! Not only a win but a CLEAN win! LOVE TO SEE IT!!!!
@user-kj7nw4zg1y after all the flak he's been getting this year this really proves that he is talented and not just aggressive
POLE too!
@@iHadWaterForDinner that pole spot definitely helped his confidence too

Solid TV coverage as well
What race did you watch? That shit was boring. No one could pass the leader after 5 laps. That race was follow the guy in front.
@@LilSebastian_ We get it.. you are a Hendricks soy boy and shop for Bud Light at Target
@@LilSebastian_ Except Chastain rand down the leader twice and passed them? Reddick, then Truex. He just had a better handling car.

Ross splitting the lapped cars top 5 move of the year
Agreed
It was a great move when I saw it during the commercial I knew he had the win in the bag unless a caution

There will be a safer barrier on all of those inside walls the next time they come back.
Congratulations 🎉 Ross! Number 1 is truly Number 1 because of you. Go get em!

Ross is a talented driver but he needs to win 7 championships to be compared with Earnhardt. He did definitely deserve the win though
@@ryanbates3319 his driving skills and style is definitely something comparable to Sr. 100%
@whatsupchris9319 in terms of driving style I definitely agree, I just meant that Earnhardt was in a completely different level with 7 championships.
@@ryanbates3319 I took how long for Sr. to get 7 ? Ross Chastain is still very early in his career
Great win for the watermelon man i love it keep it going #1

I enjoy Jr and the Mayor of Nascar commentsting together.
Anyone else?

Nope

Where are the "Highlights'??????
I think Harvick would has finish second or challenged Ross for the win if he did not cut down a tire.

bad audio for this one
Boogity boogity boogity let’s go racing 0:17
Need chase to get one in
Why wasn’t this on peacock 😠
Stage 2 win Denny Hamlin
Stage 1 win Tyler reddick
Is it just me or did this race seem really short?
After Ryan Blaney's win at Challotte, Ford is falling down badly, no Fords in the top 10 finish
Why do they have trucks but throw the loose tire in the back seat lol
Why does Dale jr. Sound so high pitched. Good grief it's annoying
Wish NBC would run all these races on their paid) peacock app.

Im sorry I can not watch nascar anymore live anymore I just watch highlights on you tube the sport is wrecked and nascar did it.
45 try to come in too fast and spun

Glad I just watch these races here after the fact, so boring.
😂
Feel bad for Blaney. However in 2023 why does Nascar race at tracks where it doesnt have safer barrier around the whole track. NO EXCUSE
First
I wish I was poor and stupid enough to race in nascar
Ross finally wins an oval race and doesn't wreck anyone. Bout time. Whats really funny is how many lover boys he has in the comments 😂😂
I think he runs better when he has a cleaner race. Just a theory of mine
Unless you count Blaney, that stack up started with Ross rear ending the 24 and knocking him into Brad.
Yes Sir.. And as an ALPHA/STRAIGHT Male, I couldn't be happier.
The #8 went from the back to the top ten three different times...he passed 60+ cars and finished ninth. NBC sucked!
Boring as ever
Nascar fans will always find a way to complain.
Do you think they should run restrictor plates at this track??😂😂😂 WHAT DO YOU WANT?? You must never be satisfied in your life!
