मुझे एक लंबा अरसा ये फ़िल्म बहुत पसंद थी मगर वो नादानी थी। अपने जैसे सभी लड़कों-लड़कियों की तरह मैं भी ख़ुद को इस फ़िल्म में जय-अदिति में ढूँढ रही थी और उन्हें मिलता देखकर खुश हो जाती थी। इसीलिए ये फ़िल्म बार बार देखती थी। लेकिन आज कुछ समझ आई है तो पूरी कहानी बदल गई लगती है। ख़ुद को अब जय-अदिति में नहीं, मेघना में ढूँढती हूँ। लगता है मैं वो ही हूँ जिसे बचपन से कुछ नहीं मिला। हर जगह अंदर बाहर वो प्यार की एक बूँद के लिए तरसती है। पूरी ज़िंदगी अपने माँ-बाप को लड़ते देखा। जब जय से मिली तो लगा कि अब सब ठीक हो जाएगा। जय जानता था कि अदिति किस लेवल के साइक्लॉजिक्ल ट्रामा से पीड़ित है। अगर वो मेघना का दोस्त भी रह जाता तो वो बच जाती लेकिन जय ने तो उसे ज़मीन से उठाकर आसमान पर बैठाया और फिर से ज़मीन पर पटक दिया। वो सब जानते हुए भी मेघना से ब्रेकअप की वजह ये शोअ करता है कि मेघना दिमाग़ी तौर पर बीमार है। कई बार कुछ लोक इतने मतलबी हो जाते हैं कि फिर वो अपनी चाहत हो जस्टिफ़ाई करने के लिए कुछ भी कह जाते हैं कुछ भी कर जाते हैं। मेरे लिए तो जय कम से कम एक हीरो तो नहीं है। मुझे नहीं पता कि मेघना का आगे क्या बना लेकिन उस जैसे लोक इस फ़रेबी दुनिया से कहीं बैटर दुनिया डिज़र्व करते हैं। लव मेघना।

This heart breaking BGM is really heart touching all times.The last part of the scene where Meghna heart was broken I cut down that clip scene & watched every time.Now it's year 2024 still I love it.
Meghna is a girl, but everyone especially me can relate to that character more. Imagine struggling to find a job, being jobless and treated like crap by relatives , friends, cousins, family, everybody. Suddenly amidst the darkness of life , you find someone who lights your world just like a fallen-star lights up the dark sky at night. You start to find solace in her. Only to find one day that the other person was just doing her time pass with you, she has lots of guys in line trying their shot on her and you're just one of those guys for her, nothing more. As she gets bored and leaves for the new person who seems exciting to her, you are again pushed into the darkness.
