The Fishman Fluence bass pickups reminds me of the sound old Alembic basses had for some reason. It was the first thing I thought of when I heard them about a year ago.
Hey Dan, is it me or did you. forget to mention the push pull volume knob which switches from active to passive? pretty sure the switch is more about pre-EQ settings rather than passive emulation... Great review otherwise, many thanks :-)
The Push pull volume pot switches to single coil mode. The 1st position on the toggle is passive. It's different from what i'm used to, but I really like the bass.
