  • The Chinese invasion and occupation of Tibet culminated in 1959. Many of the Nyingma lineage's surviving members walked across the Himalayas and regrouped in the Kalimpong region of eastern India. Lama Tharchin Rinpoche participated in the rebuilding of the Nyingma lineage, including the dzogchen practices, under the leadership of HH Dudjom Rinpoche. He founded the Pema Osel Ling retreat center in Soquel, California.

Thanks a lot for your interest. Lama Tharchin. Was so incredibly generous with his time. You may also find our videos of Thinley Norbu of interest too as he was one of Lama Tharchins primary teachers.
