The best part of the Gravekeeper clip is when the Swordsoul player used Blackout on Necrovalley and Moon Mirror Shield. So they knew the Heretic was unaffected, but didn't realize it was unaffected by Moon Mirror Shield, too.

Man, that Branded Tear sure cooked a ton for a Mirrojade Set 1 Pass. The Chimera is basically non-existent, His Tear cards are also useless with the Soul Drain, and the Morphing Jar was an icing in the cake cooked by the Runick player.
Necrovalley vs SwordSoul was a mind game on both sides, i thought SwordSoul will win, but they played like a good old yugioh anime duel. I did not expect the twist and turns lol.

fantastic. Reminds me of when someone used Liebe (rank 11 train) on me and attempted to beat through dark sanctuary, only to lose because of their own monster attacking 4 times and them losing the coin toss every time XD.
- for those curious, dark sanctuary is a destiny board-related field spell that can stop attacks if you get heads on a coin flip. it also deals damage equal to half the attack of the opponent's monster. Best part? it aint once per turn.
Edit: 7:35 is litterally what i make all my friends think when we play in person XD. i can't name the number of times i purely bluffed my opponent into basically throwing (especially during the playground days)

Most instances are really not either of those things though. It's usually a case of "Oh, this is like X and/or I know how to deal with X".
While such simplification can help and does sometimes apply, many cards do not work exactly like another for one reason or another, be it by their own effects or the limitations other cards they've used apply. This is why people who clamor for keywords are really looking to dumb down the game since not all effects even when similar are equal and if you need a unique """"""keyword"""""" for hundreds of cards you might as well just spell it out.
That's not to say there isn't some room for improvement on effect length and display (the OCG layout currently shows this) but they've keyworded basically everything possible already with PSCT.

Mirror shield or not I wouldn't put it past the Gravekeeper player to have Dark Honest in hand, in that case it would be better to keep the Blackout online. Still if that was the mindset I have no idea why he fired Blackout unless he wanted to hit the Gravekeeper but the game wouldn't let him so he had to hit the Mirrorshield? Because if he tought the other had Dark Honest then the move would have had to use Balckout on the Gravekeeper's attack declaration or to wait for him to summkn another monster thus leaving him with only a 1800atk Gravekeeper and a useless Mirrorshield on the field.

It's not a state, at least not for that reason. Mind games are a large part of what makes any PvP game fun. Doesn't matter if it's ultimately your opponent playing mind games on themselves by refusing to read or because you just took the right risks and/or made the right bluffs at the right time.

"Stun everywhere" You forgot we have Mill x99 most of the time, and Anti-Tear most of the time in the current format. This is just MD.
TCG is healthy as fck right now with Tear weaker than its prime and Kash not that good anymore.
