    Great interview! I love Jason, I’ve taken a number of his courses, and it’s always great, long term growth fuel. Nice to see him in this format. 2 week post-retreat face is a thing!! Lol. Keep up the great work Guru Viking, subbed! 🙏💕

    Thank you for this. I love Jason’s simplicity with these discussions on Magick. He has a good sense of not over complicating these topics.

      No they are totally different and unique. different logic, methods and pattern. I find the Hekate system much more flexible and it has tons of techniques to explore. It’s like if you zoom into one aspect of the system it opens up like a fractal of more possibilities. The first few months is getting the basics down but after that it really opens up. I have been doing it for years and feel I have barely scratched the surface of what the system can do.

    I am of the opinion that the degree of difficulty in manifesting depends entirely on our own karma and wether we feel worthy or able to make the change. This is why the most powerful magicians are holy men. Righteousness equals good karma and a clear channel to access our Prana / Mana / Shem whatever you want to call it. I can’t think what other force could possible exist that would impose restriction, certainly not time or gravity or entropy of some sort. What do you think about that?

      when he says it works like how other real things work - he means that we need a sense of proportion. we cant expect to levitate after a 2 week meditation retreat.
      Magic has effects, but the degree of intensity of effects is commensurate with the lengths one goes to, to effect a spell, or the resources put into a particular spell.

    • @161157gor
      @161157gor 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It’s a cumulative effect. At first there is nothing, little by little you start noticing things, small things at first, then as time passes these small coincidences & idiosyncrasies become more frequent & almost predictable to an extent. Then with the passage of time these small things take on a more & more significant part of your life, and eventually you find you are surrounded by and experience these effects past present future almost continuously whether awake or asleep… That’s how I describe the phenomenon

      Watch the movie “final destination”. That’s what it looks like. Real life things happen but they fall into place to give the resulting goal. It will always look like the real world because that is the dimension we exist in. It’s not going to be force lightning or fireballs.

      true.
      someone who suffers from TDS (trump derangement syndrome) is under the spell of mainstream media, and is unable to think clearly, isn't in control of their own mind.
      in reality, trump (and biden) are largely irrelevant to our lives, and stressing about them because "the news" tells us to, is a sign of mental weakness.

      @user-vh8pn1uf9g 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The definition of occultism changes depending on what culture you’re from. Here in America, occultism - especially the practices we define as such are much different form than what is called occultism in, say, India. This is because America is Christianized, so, many practices that would be completely normal Yoga or Religious practice in India is seen as occultism in America. Invocation of a god is completely normal in India but in America you tell someone that you’ve been invoking gods and they’ll think you’re crazy and demon possessed 😂.

    • @michaelgusovsky
      @michaelgusovsky 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      occultism itself has nothing to do with liberation, neither for or against.
      just like ability to drive a car has nothing to do with liberation.
      but you can use a car to drive to a bar and drink, or drive to a meditation retreat.
      many occultists became liberated, tibet's great yogi milarepa was a great example.
