بچپن میں بابره شریف کی فلمیں بلیک اینڈ وائٹ ٹی وی پر بہت ہی شوق سے دیکھتے تھے اور دل میں تو وہی ایک فلمی اداکاره جیسا ہی خیال آج تک رہا ہے
مگر آج معلوم ہوا کہ یہ ایک فقیرنی درویشی کے مقام کو چهوتی ہوئی حستی ہے خوبصورت آواز خوبصورت ادائیگی پیارا چہرہ تو اکثر دیکھنے میں ملتا ہے مگر وه بحیثیت انسان چهوٹے اور بے کار ہوتے ہیں

When I was teenager I used to watch Babra's every movie. I even saw her in may be one or more than one movie shooting at Shimla Hills. So anyway I started liking her and one day I wrote a letter to her for marriage proposal even I was too young but I liked her due to her cuteness. So anyways I sent that letter with c/o Shahnoor Studio Lahore. She was a big star then and probably tens of other fans did the same thing and may be she threw that letter somewhere in the dust bin or may be never received it. Today I am a father of teens and far away from Pakistan. But hey I still deserve response for that proposal even if it is No. Thanks.

اس ایکٹریس کو اس وقت دیکھا جب اس نے انڈسٹری میں کام شروع کیا تھا جو آدمی انڈسٹری سے تعلق نہیں رکھتے عام گلی کوچوں سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں وہ عام طور پر اس زمانے میں خوبصورتی اور کہانی کو دیکھتے تھے اس وقت اور بہت سی لڑکیاں فلم میں کام کرتی تھیں اور بہت خوبصورت تھیں لوگ ان کی تعریفیں کرتے تھے لیکن میں اس سے متاثر تھا کہ خوبصورتی کے علاوہ اپنے کام میں سنجیدگی نظر آتی تھی؛اب کچھ عرصہ سے اس کو لوگوں کا پسند کرنا اس کا احترام ہر جگہ پر دیکھ کر ہنسی آتی ہے کہ اس وقت جس کو میں دیکھ کر خوش ہوتا تھا وہ تو پوری دنیا کی پسند ہے یعنی سب دوستوں سے میری سوچ بہتر ثابت ہوئی ہے

With all due respect to the guest, why did the host bring up our umhat al mumineen before introducing her? That pretext isn't necessary in order to praise her or women in general. He could have praised her with her own qualities - not those of our esteemed religious figures. They were the best of the best - no one in our time can compare to them. This was utterly ignorant on his part and completely wrong. May Allah forgive us.
Leena Mark u r right. he is refering a lady with so many sinful acts(like a common person). i dont know how he is introducing her with the reference of great and sacred personalities of our religion. moreover it would be fine if it was someone else who would have done something great instead of babra shareef.

Today I watched this interview on 5th October.2021 and know about a woman who down to earth a messenger of God who lives in Pakistan I never see her and nothing know about her personally or picture wise but I say about her proudly that person is my role model and same things apply in my life so I salute to her for her views and living for other not for herself and I live her neighbour country India but I never seen before and I prayer to God fullfill her every desires in her life and in this world my head bend for two women first my mother and second one is Barbra Sharif
