  • This episone #4 Invention No.13 in A Minor BWV 784 - J.S.Bach
    To play this piece I have recorded a backing track with classical guitar.
    At the St Quirico's Church - Corvino San Quirico, PV Italy
    for more info on the location: www.comune.corvino-san-quiric...
    In this tour with my homemade portative organ, we will visit the most evocative churches, castles and places less famous to the masses in northern Italy.
    I will play pieces ranging from Renaissance to Baroque to contemporary music, chosen based on the location.
    If you want to support the project, subscribe to the channel and leave a like, it's free and it's worth a lot to me.
    I remind everyone that I am not an organ builder by profession, but only an enthusiast.
    therefore the portative is intended for personal and private use and not intended for sale.
    the internal parts are built according to tradition, referring to the artisan organ literature.
    the aesthetics is inspired by the iconography of medieval portable organs, and with common decorative elements in gothic and medieval styles, like the gothic mullioned window or the crenelated turret.

      Yes, the dinner was a bit heavy but very good ... inventions sound good on organetto, I think I'll play others.

    Hello, I am just curious how you made the guitar backing track. Did you record a friend of yours?

    • @nippocast
      @nippocast  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes, exactly, I took the backing track recorded by a friend of mine, I'm not very good at the guitar, and I played on it.

    I play the portative but am finding the metal pipes rather harsh. Would wooden replacemenbts give the same tone as yours?

    • @nippocast
      @nippocast  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, it depends on the space you have available for the pipes. Generally wooden pipes sound more fluted, but if your organetto has been designed for metal pipes I doubt that wooden ones are suitable, as they are a bit bulkier. The more fluted sound is given both by the intonation that is given but also by the diameter, a too small pipe, even if made of wood, will still play with too many harmonics, giving you that effect of hardness and poor fundamental. I don't know which portative you have but in my opinion the solution is to ask the person who made the pipes to give you a softer intonation, perhaps slightly raising your mouths, with the consequence, however, of a higher consumption of air.

      @@nippocast Thank you for your detailed reply. I guess I'll have to get a new portative with wooden pipes. I do love the sound of yours.

    • @nippocast
      @nippocast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ciao, ci ho pensato a lungo se farli in Italiano o in Inglese, sono ancora indeciso. Diciamo che l'inglese si rivolge un po' a tutto il mondo, purtroppo il tempo a disposizione è poco e non riesco a fare video sia in inglese che in Italiano. farò qualche prova comunque

      @@nippocast il fatto è che, in Italia, non c'è nessuno che abbia fatto mai video su come costruire organi in modo artigianale!

    Che suono meraviglioso !!! Ma quello che sembra un contrappunto, sembra suonato con un clavicembalo; e non una chitarra. Forse mi sbaglio... L'iscrizione e' il minimo. Complimenti davvero. Un saluto e tanta Salute dall'Irlanda (ma vivo anche ad Assisi). Grazie !!!
