Awesome! Thanks! Just took my turntable down after non use for years to put on some vinyl I bought from Three Man Records in Detroit and the belt was broken. This helped,
I have the excat same model and it was working just fine. The motor always had a problem to get going and thats why i had to manually spin it a little bit bymyself, only then the motor would start. But today it just stopped working completely, i can't get the motor to start
The first thing I would do would be just to check the motor and make sure there's not any dust/debris keeping it from spinning. If that's not the case, you might be able to find a replacement motor, although I've never replaced one on this model so I don't know how hard it is to do.
Probably too late but you want to check or replace the caps in the power supply. I sell parts and every time someone buys a motor they return it. Every time it's been the capacitors.
I’m not sure exactly. Functionally, they appear to be pretty similar. The 1116a might just be a slightly newer/updated model. Replacing the belt should be the same process on both.
Just what I needed to get my record player up and running again. Thank you!

Glad we could help! Enjoy listening to your new record!
Thanks, saved me a lot of trouble : )
Hi! Can I follow what you do on the 1200A model you think? Thx for the video!
Thank you
What kind of counterweight do you use? I just got a cp-1100a and it's missing the counterweight. I can't find any info on it
