Some pirated copy i bought much later however had missing radio stations, intro and cutscene audio. Nowadays, pirated games on consoles are long gone over here and i did actually buy Vice City for Steam, PS4 as well as a legit physical copy for the ps2 through ebay. I'm from Bahrain btw
Yeah no there are still pirated games on consoles. This is one of the main ways you can play games in my country since 60$ for a game is wayyy too expensive.

@@gm92845 Yeah but that took months. Not days nor hours. So instead of just buying the game and getting it early they had to wait ages just to play it right. 5:23 *Airbreak Enabled* *Airbreak Disabled* That's actually the GTA4 Simple Native Trainer. You can use the Airbreak function to raise, lower or flip the car.
You mean jumpscares? That's a great idea, but I suspect in today's world Rockstar would get sued by people with heart problems (maybe someone gets a heart attack and dies, etc.) Otherwise I'm sure many other game studios would've implemented stuff like this in their games.
Gta IV, still relavant today... I have Gta IV on cd (for real) but Iv never installed it since I didnt have a cd thing on my pc. So I have downloaded many cracked versions and often experienced those (and easily downloading fixes) but I remember that the drunk camera/accelleration dissapeared, and only started again when I pressed H (horn). But those mission problems I have never experienced.
0:30 - Rockstar had a lot of worries about piracy blah blah Yeah well - I have a legitimate boxed version of the game sitting on my desk right now, while downloading a pirated version specifically because all of the DRM BS is preventing me from using the legitimate copy, since the activation servers are no longer working and they no longer using Microsoft Games launcher or whatever it was. At one point I thought "maybe I would just go and purchase another copy from Rockstar's website, there was talk about complete release after all". Looked into it, and apparently the current 'full version' has removed a whole heap of music that the original game had, and you STILL have to go through rockstar launcher as well as for some reason install internet explorer. In other words, I'm going to have the exact same problems in another ten years time. Maybe if people who buy original weren't getting screwed over and treated like shit by the developers for the past ten years by DRM, then the developers wouldn't have to worry about piracy.
Thought the same thing. It's sad how badly optimized this game is. You would think they would have optimized the game instead of focusing on fighting pirates.
the best anti customer protection in gta4 was that even legitimate PC versions had a game breaking bug where no matter how fast you pressed the space bar(default controls) you couldn't climb onto the helicopter in one mission.

12:47: Bowling, the ultimate enemy 😂
14:20 I remember i had some pirated copies of GTA Vice city for the PS2 back in the day. Some pirated copies i had back in the day worked like the original game.
ToyGTone console games since ps3/Xbox 360 have no anti piracy protection.
Pirated games on console are still there. I got my friend around 10 games for his ps4 pro
Yeah no there are still pirated games on consoles. This is one of the main ways you can play games in my country since 60$ for a game is wayyy too expensive.
i like how you censored the last mission's dialogue with bowling xD
It's kinda like the "immobilizer" of GTA IV.
If your key is different, it won't let you start the car.
2:40 shooting as an NPC from GTA series would like this
Does V have anti-piracy?
Nah its been cracked rockstar was just smart when it first came our u had to sign into ur social club
yes, it was crashing a lot after few missions
Yea, I think that Rockstar made sure that you won't be able to play GTA online in cracked versions.
Nah they stopped doing this after IV because it was effecting on the legit games too instead they made the Social Club official for forever if you want to play the game you have to sign the Social Club first I think they gonna use this method on RDR2 again
@@xyzhash crashing doesn't have anything to do with crack protection Lol
12:23 missed opportunity to say ”a Walk the park”
I love the "Please give me your savegame!" face.
Every GTA mission name from any game could easily be an episode of Kojac
Maybe one of the best trolls in game and pirate industry.
Good job Rockstar!
Yeah a troll that not a lot of people saw since it was properly cracked within a couple of months. So more of a fail and wasted effort.
@@gm92845 Yeah but that took months. Not days nor hours. So instead of just buying the game and getting it early they had to wait ages just to play it right. In that time most people probably just bought it. So I think Rockstar Games won, besides there's a reason why PC doesn't have Red Dead Redemption 2 and had to wait a year for a GTAV PC release.
@@josephdocherty7919 R* sucks now brah. GTA V & RDR2 were overhyped
@@therealpizzagirl I think both games performed well up to expectations. But if you were talking about online, I completely agree with you.
@@wuzzierash578 Both games were disappointing in the story mode & the online play. The only thing R* nailed with both games are the production values (obviously)
I found an easter egg at 12:48 "I should have put you out of your misery a long time ago. Goodbye, "BOWLING". "
That was edited in to prevent spoilers.
the "rockstar ok hand " image makes me want to collapse into a black hole every time i see it
R👌
R👌
Welp, my game is improperly cracked....
Oh wait. I'm drunk, I shot my car too much and my W key is jammed in.
Thank goodness i bought the disc version, i am almost this close to encounter these anti piracy measure
It's a bit shameful to say, but I've actually encountered most of these at one point or another :D Except for the No.1 and Three Leaf Clover ones, I remember running into pretty much every single one. Oh well, I've bought the game now.
I remember cracking my game to get rid of GFWL after purchasing it legally. That's just how shit GFWL was.

*Airbreak Enabled*
*Airbreak Disabled*
That's actually the GTA4 Simple Native Trainer. You can use the Airbreak function to raise, lower or flip the car.
zolika trainer also have that too.
12:47 Goodbye, Bowling.
Imagine speed running this version. That would be funny
Rockstar: Finally, the game can finally be released.
*_RiveR - Solo starts playing_*
Rockstar: Ah Sh*t, here we go _again._
🤣🤣
If developers added screamers and shit, I would never dare to play another cracked game unless I got proof that it worked properly.
You mean jumpscares? That's a great idea, but I suspect in today's world Rockstar would get sued by people with heart problems (maybe someone gets a heart attack and dies, etc.)
Otherwise I'm sure many other game studios would've implemented stuff like this in their games.
It happened on the original fnaf
GTA IV Speedrun - Cracked%
no just stop right there
does the run end after you get the car in clean getaway?
@@zolika1351 I don't even know if such a run exists lol I was just throwing out ideas. Would be interesting to see tho.
Might work if it's not a glitchless% run. I'd definitely be interested in watching that!
your videos WITH voice overs are 100000x better!
Bernie isn’t running from Niko, he’s just social distancing.
Speedrun of this crazy drunk version of gta4
Spoofer and swegra my favorites voices
Mine too. Sometimes I watch these videos only to listen to their voices ^^

Doing Cayo Perico preps in a nutshell
Thanks for disabling that drunk camera for the rest of the game, it was hard to watch and that could totally make me sick haha :D
I love Rockstar’s sense of humour when it comes to people deciding they were too good to pay for years of work.
0:42 thought he was about to start rapping
Ah, yes, GTA IV. A game that has dubious honor of being the first game that made me rage quit - during installation.
3:37 hey were you going HELLO
Trolling people who pirate their games is just the best.
I used to be a pirate. But now I play games legally.
0:30 - Rockstar had a lot of worries about piracy blah blah
Yeah well - I have a legitimate boxed version of the game sitting on my desk right now, while downloading a pirated version specifically because all of the DRM BS is preventing me from using the legitimate copy, since the activation servers are no longer working and they no longer using Microsoft Games launcher or whatever it was.
Maybe if people who buy original weren't getting screwed over and treated like shit by the developers for the past ten years by DRM, then the developers wouldn't have to worry about piracy.
oh yea hungarians cracking gta iv thank you zolika tesóm!
🤯 Very cool. The developers must have had fun with this pirate addition.
So glad they had time to add this into the game but no time to make the game actually work for people that purchased it.
7:11 thats some mr.bean shit
8:26 gtaV online type beat
If only Rockstar had put more effort into making the PC version run well instead of its anti piracy methods
frank grimes The game’s PC version was unoptimized when it launched. Taking care of your PC doesn’t fix a poorly made port
this Anti-Piracy is so advanced that it bugged my whole PC and I had to restart it
I despise software pirates. The only time piracy is allowed is if the thing you are trying to pirate can no longer be legally gotten.
they should do as good job as optimizing the game now.
Thought the same thing. It's sad how badly optimized this game is. You would think they would have optimized the game instead of focusing on fighting pirates.
It was pretty much pointless cause 5 days after they released the game on pc the anti piracy measures were cracked.
@@raymondantram484 lmao so much for protection
@@benftimaisra8078 yeah i know
the best anti customer protection in gta4 was that even legitimate PC versions had a game breaking bug where no matter how fast you pressed the space bar(default controls) you couldn't climb onto the helicopter in one mission.
That’s frames and now Xbox one X and Series X/S are glitched there to because they go 60 fps
4:15 Imagine getting hit by an ambulance? That'd be funny wouldn't it..
