TEMPLE OF LEAH, CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES

The Temple of Leah is a favourite destination for many locals & visitors, very popular for wedding pre nuptials & pictorials for folk in general. The eye catching landmark was the inspiration of Teodorico Soriano Adarna who commissioned the building out of adoration of his late wife of 53 years, Leah Albino-Adarna. The Temple features large life size statues, ornate columns & figurines reminiscent of Roman Architecture. Perhaps most impressive is the Bronze statue of Leah Albino-Adarna seated within the Temple. The remarkable building is truly a devotion of love from a husband to his wife.
Temple of Leah is free to enter for the public. Reaching the site takes around 20 minutes from the City proper. Lahug would be the best bet to jump on a Jeepney heading that way or if you have your own transport so much the better. If you want to avoid the crowds get there early at opening time 09:00am during weekdays as weekends tend to be very crowded. #templeofleah #cebucity #cebuphilippines
