The only issue I have with the dory toy is that it is teaching kids to tap on fish bowls/tanks to “activate” the fish. It is not a good idea to tap on really fish habitats because it stresses them out.
You could put one if those little multi color light stands under the dory thing and use it as a night light; if the kid get scared at night, they can tap on it and watch dory swim... also, the shark suit would make a great Halloween costume

I don't think this is very good for children or the environment. I made sure I collected them all and put them in a bottle to be discarded properly. If a child swallows the battery it could become a life threatening situation.

I worked in Minnesota, so getting stuck all day in front of the doors straightening up stuff just to watch parents let their darling kids trash it, was a freezing job. The stuff you got was pretty typical of One Spot so I was not surprised at the fails. Can't wait to see you do Walmart next. I love the dollar stuff video's but you need a blackout curtain for the window behind you, the light washes everything out. Even placing your desk/table so you face the window would probably be better. No matter I will watch them anyway. Keep them coming.

viv are you to young to remember frustration pencils? All you need is little stick on googly eyes for your troll pencils....Google Frustration Pencils circa 1979ish and see how u use them. I edited this because I thought it was aggravation but my husband reminded me they were called frustration pencils. Basically you would smooth the hair (troll hair) straight up and while working on Math ( for me) when you become frustrated you roll the pencil fast back and forth between your palms and the straight hair looks crazy like u feel...hope that explains

Hi Vivian, I don’t if you want to say anything about this. But on Facebook the other day they showed a little 3 year old girl who payed with a makeup kit from the Dollar tree. The little girl was allergic to something in it. It make her lips blister and she couldn’t eat, she was in a hospital for several day. They said the it had many different things in the make that could cause problems for different. She just happened to have an allergy to 1 of them. It also put other marks on her face. As far as I know you haven’t used it, but thought you might to tell people about this.

When I saw the light on your face it made me think of how scary a normal flashlight looks like on a face when it is very dark and how pretty and beautiful the rainbow light looked on your face. It would just lighten the mood and make what would normally be kind of a scary night into a fun special night. Thank you for finding a new way to make my live a little more stress free.
I've bought the balloons for 3 or 4 bucks at Walgreens about 2 years ago and they worked great. My 11 year old son and his friend loved them. They ran all over outside at night. I even liked them.
I've gotten similar light up balloons for a rave party and worked really well. The light stayed bright for like 2 days. The Star Wars ones must just be garbage.
The light up part is more of a flashlight then GLO stick. And GLO sticks in balloons don't work. The only part of the balloon that glows is where the stick is physically touching the balloon, the rest is dark. I've never had trouble with the GLO balloons in the past to, maybe they have a new manufacturer.

You can blow the balloons up a lot more. You put the white long piece of paper on the nub at the top of the balloon and it just helps you measure how big it is getting. It is not really necessary. When they are blown up enough they look pretty cool though.
I bet if you put a supersonic humidifier in front of that rainbow light thing you’d see a 3D rainbow! It would probably be even better with a smoke machine like they have at disco clubs, but let’s be honest, nobody’s going to be smokin up their bedroom!

And that fish belong in bowls. They don't, at least not live ones. "Fish" bowls are inhumane for like 99% of fish, including goldfish and bettas.

The balloon popped because of the heat from the bulb. Which is why getting glow bracelet in a balloon would NOT be good.

Marta J Actually they are. Not as hot as incandescent light bulbs naturally. You leave any light source on any long length of time it does heat up.
LEDs don't generate heat.
