Female voices go to these three categories from lowest to highest: Contralto - Mezzo/Soprano - Soprano. Most women are Sopranos, they have Naturally high to very high voices, a small percentage are Mezzo's they belong in the mid range and they can sing low to high and then there are Contraltos which represent barely the 2% of female population, they can sing extremely low notes. I am from balkan and yes women here have lower voices ( not like Diana lol). i think maybe because we are taller then west. im 5"9 and that is normal female height here
