Great video as always. I love the 2 points you made during this shift: 1. The delivery situation from Nandos where you have to use an emergency only walkway to pick up deliveries. I'm really surprised Nandos is getting away with that. I think a little group collective effort from riders, submitting complaints to the local council about it would get that sorted out. Absolute scandal that you have to do that! 2. How difficult it is to drive emergency vehicles, especially Fire engines, with the control and precision that they have moving through dense London traffic in a f**king huge water filled truck that must weigh ~100tonnes. Your appreciation for the difficulty in other jobs people are doing around you is the kind of thing I love watching, whilst also showing your own skill doing a seemingly "simple" job that others with no appreciation or knowledge of other professions would definitely struggle to do well.

In my country when you sign up to be a food delivery driver you are provided with a thermal bag and must use it. Kinda weird that is not a thing in the UK.
not excusing it, but some riders (especially car drivers) use a supermarket bag because they don't want to pay for courier insurance. If they get pulled over they'll say it's their food. Again, not excusing it.

I think any tunnel with a pedestrian pavement should have some barriers to protect people from the traffic. Trouble is they won’t do anything until there’s an accident.

I've been thinking of knocking shifts on the head with Just Eats. The pay orders have got worse, and some drivers double phones with accounts is ruining it for many honest drivers. Only did £39.49 on Xmas Eve waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for first order. I went out on Xmas Day evening, managed to do a £19.38 order on Uber Eats and £18,90 on Deliveroo...
Things must be different over there. In the US there is just about nothing open on Christmas Eve and Christmas. Not a chance you're getting delivery, even if you find something open after about 3pm.
Metro Detroit... Nobody was open. I spent both days driving around visiting people. Saw a 5-6 Chinese places open and a few middle eastern places. Which makes sense. But that's it.
I’m from California but I remember once on Christmas night I was craving for McDonald’s idk why but once I got to McDonald’s drive through was long and went inside there ton of drivers waiting for the order and I have to wait long too for my order.

That's not true at all. Christmas Eve is not a federal holiday and most places are open. You probably live out in the sticks.
