This ending music...is sooo good and somewhat sad. Shedding tears right now, as I did the first time i listened to it. A fantastic prelude to MM7, i remember just reading "to be continued" at the end of the credits, that blew my mind.
The ending tune is definitely a piece of work that gives me some strange sad/nostalgic/content/happy feels all at once- when I was a kid, first playing this, I literally cried when it said "to be continued" because towards the end of this game I became sad that it was going to end. Good memories
I don't think I got emotional like that over the ending to 6 but I was concerned the series was ending. After all Wily was finally arrested. This never happened. It felt like they were trying to put a nice little bow on the series. Mega Man X was so cool and badass that I was concerned that nobody cared about the wimpy little classic series anymore. When I saw that to be continued, it was exciting. It was like YES! He's NOT DONE YET! Bring on 7!" And I loved 7 even if it was a little different, so I was happy.
Absolutely love Flame Man's theme. It somehow represents India and Pakistan more than the country it's supposed to be representing,, For this reason it also makes me feel somewhat nostalgic even though I have never played MM6 ever
2:56 Blizzard Man's theme was always a favorite of mine. It starts off like everything's cool on the surface (get it? Cause it's Blizzard Man? Nothing? Nothing? Ok I'll leave) then slowly builds this tension until 3:32 which finishes in what sounds like a really passionate emotional flourish. Perhaps there's more to Blizzard Man than meets the eye.
Capcom is one of the very few old school AAA developers left that really do put a lot of love and effort into deep, expansive and charming AAA games. I'm not saying every product of theirs is perfect by any means. But compared to the other big names of that era like Konami, EA, Midway and Ubisoft I feel they have survived mostly intact. Even their failures like RE6 mostly failed due to bad decisions. Not due to greed or lack of effort.
@@MrMarinus18 RE6 Mercenaries had a ton of care and effort put into it, even games that have their haters like MonHun 5th gen have a ton of devtime put in to make it as good as possible
got this game today, was a bitch to find as it was never released in Europe. i wanted to collect the 7 nintendo games before i got tattoo of mega man and this was the last one! only 8,9 and 10 left to collect, 9 and 10 are easy to get thanks to digital downloads but 8 might take a while.

Mega man 2 and 3 are best games compared to the time they were released. Mega man 2 is good in the sense that it introduces E-tank, a fantastic weapon (metal blade, which can be cast at all directions at very low cost), and some good BGM . Mega man 3 also has some amazing features, say shadow blades, sliding, etc. I think mega man 6 has good BGM, but compared to previous games, it doesn't make significant improvements and the special weapons are poorly-designed.
Yinan Hu Past 3 they didn’t need to make significant improvements though. I don’t know why people always list that as a negative. The only improvements that were really necessary were the charge shot and the slide. After that all they really had to do was keep making good levels, bosses and special weapons.
I'm gonna be real with you, I think this game has the worst overall Mega Man ost on the NES, and I know it's a unpopular opinion, but besides, most of the tracks (In my opinion) are mid, or just forgettable. Edit:You know what, I think this ost is that bad back listening it again, and as the description of this video says, indeed better than Mega man 5's ost (but Proto Man's Castle and Gravity Man are pretty good, plus 2 other theme). But I think it better to listen to the arranged themes from the Complete Works or Anniversary Collection.
