RIP Jim Perry 1933-2015 Yes, fellow game show fans, we lost yet another game show legend, after a 5-year battle with that dreaded cancer, at the age of 82, I found that out this morning while watching a classic episode of Card Sharks on GSN, we will miss you!!!
And now we may possibly be losing yet ANOTHER game show legendary host to pancreatic cancer, the star of #Jeopardy, Mr. Alex Trebek 😢💔 Of course, I pray and hope that I am wrong about that prediction!
I love the opening of this episode! The legendary game show hosts coming out and introducing their colleagues -priceless! Much love, honor and respect for these fine gentlemen
Since I Recently Joined A Group That Was Dedicated To Wink Martindale And Tom Kennedy On Facebook And Number One I,m A True Fan Of Classic TV Game Shows And Number Two They Played In The Turnabout Tournament On Card Sharks I Throught That This Video And All Subsquents Like It Would Intreste Me So Very Well.
@@drummingdanny84 and measures were taken so that he was not seen taking too many steps on camera. Which was why he did not have a grand enterance unlike other game show hosts. And on games where he participated as a celebrity contestant he would either be shown already seated or standing near his seat except To Tell the Truth where his walk to his seat is only shown off camera.
anyone ever find out what that last card is on the spinning board on regular game side I know there are five cards (J of spades, Q of Diamonds, K of spades, Q of hearts...the hidden care you never see completely) while the money card side has four.(K of clubs, J of diamonds, Q of spaded then King of hearts) I have a gut feeling that the last card is the JACK OF CLUBS.. I seen images that look like clubs.
They didn't truncate them. They were designed to be specifically for this theme song, just as Blockbusters and TPiR. They got a little cheap on the 80's Card Sharks and stole from TPiR, though. And with Classic Concentration, I think THAT was truncated.
Four of these great game show legends sadly are no longer with us😣😢 they were the ones that made tv game shows actually something worth watching-especially with family!
Old Game Show Host Jim Perry, Shardai Young was so unhappy that I don't need your help! I'm sorry! And I'm so confused about you, and I'm overreacted nobody but you.
It's hard to believe it will be 40 years since Card Sharks debuted on NBC Happy 40th anniversary

14:58 NO!
I wonder why they played ½ the LH when it DID come from a G-T show, the same with Double Dare.
What happened to Lacy and Suzanne?
and what happened to the "push" thing if the cards were the same in the money round?
All these game show hosts worked for G-T except for Wink Martindale.
I greatly enjoy watching this episode.

14:58 - BUST! That deuce had done him in.
Wow. Not many times do you see Bill Cullen actually walking on.
kmsimedia He contracted polio as a child which left him with a permanent limp.

At 14:17, Good that rule changed later on where if a contestant got a push in the money cards, they didn't win or lose anything.
Do you think he’s going to bust asked Richard
I didn't know Allen Ludden was as big on animal rights as Betty White.
PriceRight89 yes I thought every one knew that
@@missladwig5308 IKR? After all, they were husband and wife!
Deuces and Aces are SWEET but Sevens and Eights are a REAL DECEIT!!!!!!!

Is that the same studio where Jim would do SOTC after CS cancellation?

I wonder they truncated the losing horns, it IS from a Goodson-Todman show

I kinda wish CBS would've done this as well with Eubanks, that would've been fun.

What is Bill Cullen's favorite charity?
Vera Didenko Yea, that, and his favorite charity is BUST!
Usually The Salvation Army. He also used it as the same charity when he played on the Men’s team on the first All-Star Edition of Trivia Trap in 1984.
Glad they changed it.
I don't blame Bill for freezing on a 10 that card is uuuuuuugly
