Fantastic video! Hope to see other similar videos with other artists and maybe other designer scarves ? My favorite is Annie Faivre. I love many of her designs. My latest find is 'Coup de Fouet' by F. Manlik. Although I can appreciate many of the more recent prints, I find them too busy and too loud for my personal taste. Thank you for another excellent video!
Thank you so much!!! I‘m currently gathering information about further artists - if you have any in mind pls do let me know. I think they deserve way more credit than they are receiving
@@PinkLookbook Thanks to you for all the effort and time you spend on delivering such great content on your channel! Maybe Florence Manlik and Caty Latham ?
It's amazing to see such great appreciation for the small details in Hermes' work by artists. This is truly what makes their creations remarkable. I really hope we get to see more videos highlighting the intricate artistry of other talented individuals as well.
Thank you so much for this video. I will share it with my eldest daughter who is the one who will have the Ledoux, Musée scarf I inherited from my grandmother ❤
Great video, thank you. I have a scarf signed by Phillip Dumas, called Fairytale. Do you have any info on the artist, is he a member of the Hermes family?
Interesting, the name could indicate he is but let me do some research and get back to you. I don't want to give any premature answers. The design of your scarf is beautiful by the way.
After doing some research, I found some information about Philippe Dumas: he is indeed related - he is the grandson of Émile-Maurice Hermès and the son of Robert Dumas. He seems to have a big passion for horses and has published multiple books. I have found this article in French about an exhibition in Montreal www.lapresse.ca/arts/arts-visuels/201605/27/01-4985777-exposition-hermes-des-chevaux-et-une-famille.php and a TH-cam video where they interview him: th-cam.com/video/iJP1upv1uyg/w-d-xo.html (second part of the video). I hope this answers your question!
