I've always admired the passion with which italians sing their anthem. In Brazil it became a trend that started at about 2012 or 2013 and had the most expression during the 2014 world cup, but it was mostly a midiatic thing. Italians, though, in every sport sing the anthem with great passion or great Joy. I remember when frederica pellegrini won an olympic gold and sang the anthem so happy and emotional. I really love that.

I watched Italy for the first time in the world cup in 2006. When they beat France in the final, I was happy like a crazy. I was 7 years old then. I even had an Italian uniform which is written of its back Inzaghi but lost it.. Since then, as a Turk, I support Italy in every tournament.
As a Turk I loved this generation of Italy under the coaching of Signor Mancini. I was a teen when he was coaching Galatasaray. Those were some good days. Rispetto!

Anyway, its real title isn't "Fratelli d'Italia". Here in Italy too someone calls it as Fratelli d'Italia but those words are only the first words of the song. Its title is "Il canto degli italiani" (the song of the italians)
