If only if you add minion missions mechanic [being feature in Assassins Creed Brotherhood, and Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain] in your future DLC. This gives NPCs in all professions a variety of skills and experience to unlock in their respective roles by dispatching them from multiple locations by acquiring intel and resource no matter the percentage rate of failure and success they have.
Hey Kinggath, love your content and I enjoy your mods, i'm actually inspired to get into modding myself from you :3. (I have some experience modding hoi4) I have a few questions however, you mentioned in one of your earlier videos that vassals produce more resources. Is that a major difference compared to outposts or is it possible to only have outposts? I find it somewhat unimmersive that early game as a minutemen liberators playthrough I cant just make sanctuary hills a vassal without assaulting it, especially when Preston Garvey's crew settles down. Is that something possible to add for liberator factions? To make owned settlements vassals just like they can with outposts. Do workers who work at settlements produce at the same rate or at a lesser rate than works at vassals? How do civilian workers and captives in outposts compare? For vassals and outposts does the food/water/happiness system from the vanilla settlement UI mean anything or is that system entirely disabled. Also one suggestion, in my experience in the mod using the share XP system I find the XP that Personal Guards get is far weaker than what warriors get from running assaults. I find that I need only one or two assaults to level up my Soldiers compared to me clearing out all off US Station Olivia, and North Lexington to get only 40% the needed XP.
Forcing you to run assaults to capture vassals is because otherwise you never have to use the assault system at all as a liberator, which then makes most of the gameplay systems unnecessary. To make it more immersive, enemies are spawned so you can at least feel like you are rescuing them. Civilian versus captives will be covered in future videos, but basically the difference is that captives require half rations at a cost of demanding much higher control score from that outpost. Your other questions are answered in the Outposts and Vassals and Morale system videos. Per the XP, it will likely be adjusted over time. It is definitely intentional that leveling them through assaults is the easiest way since it's so chaotic. Though the personal guard xp is probably too low still.
interesting 😊 i think im actually starting to get it! 😊☠ damn got killed! nope, try again... aha, gotcha 😊 these vids are extremely helpful and they make more sense than trial and error! 😊 rank 5... ooo sounds like something to definitely aim at! we are going to end up as "kings of the commonwealth" along with king g! (thought on that... when you get half of the available settlements maybe have a special upgrade to the hq which renames it to parlament/congress/palace and gives new stuff! and also boosts overall moralle... everywhere and helps those there level up quicker. perhaps even introduce actual jobs for the lev 5's like master at arms, comissioner, undertaker etc and their own special "them only" plots at the main base, but they work over all outposts/vassals and have "local plots" which are just basic versions of the main one at the outposts/settlements)
Leveling only occurs under the circumstances I described. If those Mintemen guards are not in an Outpost or Vassal, or aren't from a Conqueror controlled Faction Pack - they won't rank up unless you take them with you as Personal Guards.
Hello, does the immortality for rank 5 soldiers still work in the current version? I got two guys to rank 5, raider legend, but they still die, they won't go down for me to give them a stimpack, they just keep dying. I have them as personal guards if that helps. I have to load a save each time they kick the bucket wich sadly happens a lot (playing survival and with immersive gameplay mod) :'( Edit: I figured it out, it now works! :D The issue was that i never dismissed my guards since they were recruits, so i guess the game never updated to their rank 5 raider leyend status. So I dismissed and then recuited them again. But there is a catch. Curiously enough once i dismissed them they got immortality, they went down(wounded) and up. But when i recruited them again to be my personal guards they started dying again without going down. So immortality only seems to work if they aren't your personal guards(and they seem to be ONLY immortal to ENEMY ATTACKS so you can still kill them by mistake). But there is another option, you can activate the city manager holotape or menu, then go to options-gameplay options-conqueror-personal guards. There is the 'mortal' option that you can turno off and that makes your squad unable to die... but i recomend to first dismiss them and recruit again to personal squad or else the option may bug and they can still die(that's what happened to me xD). Hopefully this can help someone else with the same problem.

i havnt tried the mod yet but is the immortality of rank 5 soldiers optional?
If I've got a regular town can my Minutemen guards rank up too?

@@kinggath Ah okay, thanks for clarifying that for me.

Does conqueror give you tribute from vassals like in Nuka World?
