- Shark Scrapper is back! This is our first video since moving to the mountains of Western North Carolina and it's a whooper. Sharky picked up the first of many pallets of material from the largest scrapyard in the area. Now to get to some sorting.

Thank you - it's great to be back at it.
Great to see business back to usual. Welcome back and damn good to see it
Looking forward to getting this growing again.
Good to see you back! Hope you're a little more further out of the hurricanes harm's swift way, we got ours about a month ago and got a close call the other day. Godspeed to all in Louisiana!
It's great to be back. We had a little rain and some clouds, but nothing unusual for around here.
A new subscriber today, ran across your channel through "Business insider"video that referenced your channel. I love this kind of content even though I am nowhere involved in the industry of scrapping. I watch a lot of larger and smaller channels all revolving around scrapping. A very common theme amongst a majority of them is trying to find a viable means of dealing with e-waste. Viable meaning profitable, I'm sure I'm going to love this channel, can't wait to start watching all the old videos. You've definitely piqued my interest.
Awesome! Welcome to the shiver - that's a group of sharks 🤣From you comment, I think my ROI playlist would be of good initial interest for you.
Welcome back good to see you at it again
mile buiochas
I’ve been regularly checking to see if you have posted any videos. Welcome back!
Great to be back, sorry it took so long.
From one ex-Navy to another. Welcome back, big move. When I retired we moved a two day drive north to a small fishing town on the Pacific, That is when I really got into scrapping.
I don't know if this went through your head but now Board sort is only a one day drive north of you. It would be a lot easier to drive to Alliance with a full gaylord or more and sort after you get there. I am sure Chris would OK that. That way you do not even have to carton anything. you say you picked up at a scrap yard but not if you bought or that want to get rid of it. I hope there is enough meat on the bond to ship all to Chris and make a decent $$
Being closer to Boardsort is a nice beni of this move and I'll likely make the drive when it makes sense. Chris and I are in frequent communications and he's looking forward to me making a visit. GO NAVY!
@@sharkscrapper your truck and a good scrapper trailer could hold at least three gaylords. do a video.
@@cyberdan1000 After I get up and running a trailer will definitely be on the acquisition list.
Like all commented,it's great to see you back 👍
Great to be back!
The Mountain Shark has arrived, Nice to see what you have been doing.
Nice artwork someone sent me 😜
@@sharkscrapper 😆
Glad your back and getting geared up!
Me too!
Welcome back Shark, I've been working out of a storage unit too. Mostly as a temporary holding spot for street finds that need to go to the yard.
Not ideal but we do what must be done.
Great too see you back shark scrapper
Thanks Patrick, great to be back.
Battery powered lights
There are many power demands other than lights. But that is a temporary solution if it comes to that. Again, this is just an interim set up to let me get started.
Great Video Shark. Miss you all.
Thanks Gibby, great to be back.
Welcome back Sharkie
Many thanks
Shark, you are getting started. Looks like that Gaylord box has a lot of goodies in it. Can't wait to see you sorting out those boards. Take care and be safe. I'm glad that for now you have somewhere to get some inventory going. I need to learn how to deal with boards and get with some of my scrap yards to get some of that inventory going for myself. See you on the next video.
Always happy to help folks get going in this.
Another great video! You were missed!
Thank you - More to come!
Nice start, Rams and boards Sharkey 👌 👍
A very nice start indeed.
Glad to see your back and getting some account activity. Hope you will still be able to do some street scrapping in your new location. 👍
Unfortunately, I don't see any street scrapping happening here. This area just doesn't support it.
Great to see you back in action, Shark!! Looks like you'll need bigger totes for sorting. If you're ever in Illinois, I can hook you up with all the plastic 55 gallon barrels you could want...just ask Gil! 😜😂 Hope to have an update on my new space later this week. Fairly happy so far except for the limited electrical. But that can be fixed...just takes a few 💸💸. Nice score on the RAM and CPUs!!!
Thanks Roger, great to be back. I had similar electrical challenge in my last Shark Cage. It got old moving the extension cords around 🤣
So glad you're back.
Me too!
Welcome bacl!
Thank you
Glad yo see your back mate
Great to be back again.
Great to see you back Sharkey
Thanks Paul, great to be back.
As a kind of hobby I look for electronics in dumpsters and curbside stuff! Live in NC. Wish I could afford a larger storage unit! Thank you. The storage facility I use HAD electric outlets... Convenient for testing a PC, laptop, or other device I "rescued"! Gone...
.
Very cool that they have power.
@@sharkscrapper not any more... 😡😠
I am jealous of the ram and cpus
Not a bad way to get started.
The scrap chomping fish is back at it.
For sure.
interesting to see how things are progressing for you there mate good luck finding a place to work from
*thumbs up👍Au💯full view always*
Thanks 👍 Something is bound to work out in time.
Welcome Back!!!
Thank you
Hey Shark Scrapper welcome back 🙏
Great to be back!
Wonderful to see you again! Welcome back!😊
Thank you!! 😊
Welcome back shark we have missed you and you have to do whatever it takes to get back in to the swing of things this was a very enjoyable video thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother
Thanks so much! It's great to be back.
You look like less tired and more fit, glad to see you again :) Good luck for the moving in
I've started going to the YMCA and swimming laps. Great exercise.
How did you purchase that crate??
Did you buy the crate for a price or did you agree to pay them a percentage??
Prior to picking up the pallet I provided the scrapyard with my price list and told them I'd take the time to separate the boards, weight them, and provide a detailed reconciliation report for what I owe them. But you need to understand that I've been in contact with the owner for almost a year including meeting him at a scrap conference and his yard twice before this. That, and my YT channel, allowed the owner to understand that I'm a serious ewaste dealer who knows his stuff and can be trusted. Building a relationship with others in this industry is extremely valuable.
Im in NC too
Love it up here.
Welcome back. Do you think you're close enough to fill up a small truck and drive up to board sort now.
I'm hoping to do a couple Boardsort runs. Should be a lot of fun.
How would you utilize an office or showroom? Are you being a middleman to accept boards and then send them to Chris? Sort of like what Ben in Australia does? Also the upstair, possibly back to an online resale type business? Anything else you deal with would be too heavy. What do you see your new business plan to be now.
Very good questions. I'll be focusing on electronic scrap similar to my friend Ewaste Ben. If I end up with an office it could make for a nice studio so I can add board close ups and such. To be honest, a lot will depend on what space I end up with.
Asheville area .... how you enjoying interstate 26 up there... if you cross SC line holler at Me
LOL - I've learned to avoid 26 🤣
@@sharkscrapper smart man lol
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️😎😎😎
Thank you
I'm sorry, did you say you fell off the planet? The flat planet?
🤣
Oh hh ian will be so proud of you
@@ScrappingIrishI am. lol
Somebody is a little stiff . Great to the same somebody using 3 point contact movement . Start looking out for a trailer 8 hr drive to board sort just haul butt up 77
I used go spelunking as a teenager. The three point movement sort of stuck with me.
A great video to bounce back with, I’m sure there will be a little envy somewhere…. Ok in Eire, so you do admit it’s possible to fall off the world. 😂
Yes, I've fallen off many round, or nearly round, objects 🤣
