Hello, I've been a Nintendo fan since I was only 5 years old kid and played New Super Mario Bros Ds on Nintendo Ds to the newiest Super Mario Bros Wonder. I always been played on Nintendo consoles like Super Nintendo, Ds, Wii, Wii U, 3ds and defienitily Nintendo Switch and I always buy a new Super Mario game when it comes out like how I bought Super Mario Bros Wonder. My favourite Super Mario games are Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Super Mario 3D Land, Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario Odyssey. I've been interested of that Super Nintendo World in United States Hollywood, but im interested of Japan's Super Nintendo World a little bit more. Fun fact: Before Universal opened up, there were plenty of theme parks that served food. But, it was always mediocre at best, and relied solely on the fact that you had no other options. When Universal opened up, they decided to put a focus on their food. Sure you would initially come for the rides, but the food would be the reason you kept coming back to the park. And they succeeded! This put pressure on many of the other theme parks to up their food game. Semi-related tangent: My mom worked at Universal for like 10 years. During that time she would typically eat lunch in the parks. Many of her most famous recipes (including her award-winning peanut butter cookies) are recipes she came up with to be copy-cat Universal recipes.
I am a Universal kid all the way- I've been fortunate enough to have at least one family member work there for as long as I can remember, so I've probably gone at least once a year (with the exception of the pandemic years). I've been waiting for Nintendo World to make its way over to Universal Orlando (they've probably been talking about it for like a decade now, they just don't really have the space right now). This was a cool little sneak-preview! It looked like you guys were having fun! I feel like they should've called it Mario Land, though. All this time I was thinking Nintendo World was going to have mini-sections like how Harry Potter has Diagon Alley, Nocturn Alley, Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and London; like maybe there would be a little Zelda area, a Mario area, a Pokemon area, maybe an arcade for the old school games and Smash Bros, etc. This feels more like Simpsons land where there's one simulation ride, a bunch of games, and one very popular restaurant. But maybe this is a beta test and they might expand to some of the other franchises later. (Now that I think about it, it was probably easier to justify doing Mario since Universal just did a Mario movie that made some serious bank. Everyone petition for an Illumination Pokemon film! 😂)
