I can't say I've ever found a baseball game that I personally enjoy. Not saying that there aren't any good baseball games, I'm just not a sports guy. But if there was an NBA Jam type arcady baseball game, I'd definitely give it a shot.
@@Nerdstillery yeah I get that. I like the hot shots golf games and that’s about it. But back in the day rbi baseball 2 player was a lot of fun. Admittedly I haven’t played it since I was a kid.
MTV stands for music television...not that people would know that THESE days, am I right? lol I just hope they do some sort of reality show to change things up sometime. Per the bird in the golf game, did you know they pump in bird noises during the Augusta National during the Masters? My brain COULD learn useful things, but this is the kind of stuff that sticks....
They add bird noises?? Wow....that's worse then when I found out WWE would occasionally add crowd noise if a moment didn't get the response they were hoping for. lol
the main theme for Top Gear got appropriated by the band Muse for their song Bliss. I like muse, but they are definitely one of those bands with only great or terrible songs.
Your rating of a B for Top Gear makes me think man lol In its time... being a kid.. that game was freaking awesome. So hard to judge games from back in the day. Almost have to put yourself in the position of a kid in the 90's to really appreciate them. With that being said it's your review and appreciate your perspective and love your vids. Thanks for the entertaining vids!!!
Oh yeah, there's a lot of games I played as a kid that nostalgia no doubt clouds my judgement. lol. That's the hardest thing about trying to go back and play early 3d games. Unless you were there, its hard to appreciate a lot of those games today.
I gave VGM a try with the 5 up plan. I had about the same luck. 2 junk racing games for SG, 2 shovelware incomplete wii-u titles, ballz 3d for SG, and Rugrats scavanger hunt N64. They clearly are sending bargain bin games that nobody wants to people. I got my December box and immediately unsubscribed. I figured it up and best case those games MIGHT be worth 30 bucks assuming someone actually wanted them. $30 is probably being too generous.
Its a gamble, especially when you already have a decent collection. The boxes were much more exciting back when my collection was a fraction of what it is now.
Top Gear gets game of the month for this Box but i feel like your past couple boxes have been very underwhelming, is your collection big enough where they may be having a hard time?
Compared to some other TH-camrs....my collection is still pretty modest. lol. But yeah, I would say I have a lot of the heavy hitters/mid level affordable games in my collection. If I expanded my preferred consoles, I'm sure I'd get much better games. But without a guarantee that I'll get disc based games CIB, I'd rather stick with cartridge games. I hate having loose discs lying around. lol.
Vigilante 8 for the win on the box. My unboxing had some pretty sweet games! Love VGM. Great video.
RBI was one of the only sports games i would play in the arcade. Fun times. I got that Top Gear from a TH-camr. Really dig the music in that one. 😂
You don't know about Remote Control!? I used to watch it all the time back before you were born lol
Boomer.....
Wow, this video somehow reminded me to take my vitamin C. Thanks!
Did you hear that MTV just celebrated it's 50 year anniversary?! A solid 10 years of music. Vigilante 8 is probably my pick for this box.
Ha! That made me laugh.....
I’m not a big sport video game person but the RBI games on nes are legit still my favorite baseball games.

I find your mini reviews of these mediocre games from VGM rather entertaining. Great work
I find my mini reviews themselves to be mediocre. :) But seriously....thanks for watching!
Vigilante 8 is definitely the best of the bunch here
Top gear is a great racer the soundtrack is awesome, its basically a port of the lotus games from the amiga
Its a port of the lotus games!? These lotus games are apparently haunting me.....stay tuned......

@@Nerdstillery What about the cardboard cutout people in the crowd for episodes of American Gladiators?
I had Remote Control on the Apple II. Will die of old soon.
Apple II!!?? Man, all I remember from the Apple II was playing Oregon Trail....those were the good times.

Interesting....I'll have to check that song out. There's only 1 Muse song I can say I enjoy, but I've honestly never really given them the chance.

Vigilante 8 was probably the best but I always preferred twisted metal instead.
I can see that....something about Vigilante 8 just didn't click for me.
