I had standby mode working for awhile until it didn't. didn't know what was causing it not to show so I restarted my iPhone 11. it worked again.

Thank you! My root cause was notifications set to When Unlocked instead of Always

Hey. Should standby mode shut down or should it stay ? Mine turns of after a minute :/ how can i keep it whole time without it shuting down itself ?

It will only stay on if you have an iPhone with an always on display unfortunately. These are iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max and when released iPhone 15 Pro & iPhone 15 Pro Max.
