Hello! Let us know if you have any strategy that you would like us to test on all the currency pairs! Or if you have any suggestions to improve the channel! We would love to hear them! Thank you! 🙂
Nice and well put together. My grid EA just went through the small 400 pip trend on EURUSD last week and now im having to hedge the trades. Had the grid set at 25 pips. Bad idea. So I'm getting my EA modified so that on the 3rd grid line it's a Sell only, assuming if the price is going up it eould , 10 pips above that is a pending Buy only, 10 pips below. at the grid 3rd Sell only entry after the 1st Buy trade is a Sell only pending order. I will have 10 avaliable trades in the channel. Now the grid strategy is trapped in this channel. The channel trades TP are 10 pips away from open. So I'm speculating if the market moves out of the grid setup and going into a big or slight trend , it will move into a support/ resistance zone and there will be enough money pending to bounce it out of the channel and take its TP. If it goes back down to continue the grid system then it will still take the sell trade at a Lot value big enough to cover any losses. I've used my channel EA with decent results but if it starts off in a sideways dead market such as if there is an interest rate decision coming out or other big economic event, then it will just ping pong inside the channel and possibly run out of margin. I use a martingale strategy on the channel trading, so it's why i could hit a wall. Now I'm merging my grid EA with this channel system. The EA starts off with the grid then starts the channel system to capture profit if there's a trend starting. The channel system is excellent in a trend but sucks in a sideways market. The grid, as you showed , is vice versa . Hopefully it works.
You explained so simple that I finally grasp the idea of grid trading in less than 15 minutes. Thank you so much sir! Do you have an opening breakout strategy during the market open that uses VWAP only? Would really appreciate it. Thank you again sir and more power!
Hi Shaphan! Thank you for your support! Yes, grid trading can really wipe out an account if it goes strongly in one direction and doesn't go back. Be careful when using grid trading. Please feel free to let us know if you have any strategies that you would like us to back test! Cheers!
I made an Ea based on this strategy. It works fine, but you should run on range market and limited Lot for each position for managing margin. Also i did some changes to detect the best condition to run. Thank you Sir
Hi Summanther, thank you for your comments! You will need to check with your broker if you can open a "Hedging Account". This will allow you to keep both Buy and Sell position at the same time. Without this, your broker will just cancel out the other trade when you enter the opposite direction. Hope this explanation helps! Cheers! :D

Hi Georgeinms! Thank you for your comment! We will take note of the background music. Understand that it might be too distracting. We apologize for the disturbance. Thank you for your support! Please feel free to email us if you have any strategy that you would like us to try! Cheers!
Omg man this content is super helpful for me thank you so much for providing it❤❤😁 Because I'm trying to make a grid adviser and there is this company that will fund the project and provide a fat account to make it work and it can change my life I would appreciate if you backtest yours on all forex crurrencies and share a video about result Can you do that please 🙏 Thanks man
Hi Ehsan, thank you for your support! Yeah grid trading requires a fat account. Be careful it can be quite scary when the trade goes strongly in one direction. We must be able to tolerate the huge negative value when it goes a single direction. Sure we will test out grid trading on all the currency pairs to have a better understanding which pair is best to trade grid trading. Stay tuned! Cheers!
It needs stop loss for each trade .. so it will need less capital and better return. Or you can close everything in certain profit and start again to trade with the trend example every 5% profit I prefer to use stop loss for example 250 pips and the gap is 50 pips
Thank you for pointing it out, Mr.Frank! haha! Sorry, that we have made a mistake in our script and video. Nonetheless, please feel free to share with us if you have any strategy that you would like us to back test! Cheers! :D
Sir,I request you to test grid trading on INDICES( dow30, S&P500 & NASDAQ100 DAX 40 & FTSE100)--as you know market indices are mean reverting over longer time holding periods & EA would be performing well..Index cfds are traded 24/7 & have huge volumes & market makers can not manipulate them to harvest stop losses.Thank you.
Hi Navketan! Thank you for your suggestions! Agree that indices are better instruments! Currently our testing were only done on the forex market mainly. We will try out strategies on the indices and stock market! Cheers!
In general, the SP500 index has been in an upward trend since the last 7 years. Because of its bullishness I consider that the stock market/index is not optimal for mean reversion strategies, at least if you consider that it will continue to go up. What do you think ? I'm currently coding a Grid EA, I will test with SP500 and compare with forex to demonstrate my saying if you are interested (yearly return on forex is very good especially with AUDCAD, NZDCAD, AUDNZD crossed-pairs). Will edit this comment and make a private youtube video to show result on Metatrader backtest
All Good but Grid Strategies Not Such Profitable in forex market Beacause of News many time market create big candle in sec, you use that strategies in big time frame for best result, dont use in smaller time frame
@@danielcaiado6924 i used Martingale for a long time. in the long run, the bottom line with it is that your trades needs to be VERY small, and you need A LOT of money in the account to back it up...

I have traded a grid based ea and wondered why it lost during certain periods, now I know thanks for this informative video.

Good analysis. What to avoid is more important than what to adopt.

yes exactly and then in your next trades, scale your lot size to recover your previous losses, at least partially.
How doesn't even the first buy and sell neutralise itself?
In general most traders may encounter a problem with margin to cover all the open positions!
Hello, can we test the strategy on XAUUSD Please
How did it go?
Do you have any EA of this strategy??? So we can personally backtest??

Commissions aren't counted - the profit is a lot less than shown.

Not as easy as he puts it I'm currently using the same exact strategy and trust me it's hard
This is useless if you don’t check drawdown. Risk losing $10k due to trend start to make $100 is not worth it.
Aro trade
Hi Diyorbek, thank you for your comment! Can you please elaborate more on what you meant by that? Cheers!
Just blown your account if market have strong trend😂😂
With no way to mitigate that risk either, that's why I trade a heavily modified version where I can easily hedge risk away
this looks even worse than Martingale
Martingale in the most powerful strategy for trading if you know how to use it.
