Hwarang || Ban Ryu x Soo Yeon Moments Ep 16-20

First of all, I have to talk about Ban Ryu and his wonderful change of heart. It’s been obvious for some time that he’s just never had a strong father figure or real friends who like him for more than his status, so it’s no wonder he has a hard time trusting anyone.
It was lovely to see him come so undone in front of Soo Yeon and finally tell her how he feels, even if it was to admit that he’s scared he’ll hurt her.
He’ll probably never be all buddy-buddy with the other guys, but he’s beginning to find some self-worth in the fact that there are people who do genuinely care about him.
Mostly I just want him to be happy, so seeing him realize that someone thinks he’s worthy of concern and love is a beautiful first step.
Way to go, Ban Ryu! He's been tormented for too long and Soo Yeon's belief in him was the light he needed to get past his evil father.
It is so important to have someone believe in you! Especially for Banryu who is struggling between good and bad.
With Soo Yeon calling him a good guy and Soo Ho showing worry for were probably the reasons he came back to the good side.
I'm so glad he has the courage to admit that he is a bad person (Not in my eyes! You are not bad). But if he knows he is a bad man then he is good, because bad people don't think they are bad, they just are!
I'm glad he has the conscious and I like the KIM siblings, these two are the one who brought Ban Ryu to the right path, especially Soo Yeon. I love her! As they say, behind a good man there is a good woman. So hoping he sticks to her.
She just chose the perfect timing to tell him that he is a good person. It really moved his heart.
And for final episode when Soo Yeon said to Ban Ryu "But you have my love," once again melted Ban Ryu's heart. And the way he checking window for an escape route, it really make me wanna laugh 😅 Please Master Kim Seub, just let them be together. For me, Ban Ryu's romantic scenes were far more interesting to watch.
