There is a French movie entitled "Kung-Fu Master" released in 1988 and directed by Agnes Varda. It tells about a relationship between a 35-year old divorced mother and a 14-year old video game player. The film features many scenes of arcades in 1987 and many shots of this game.

Kung-Fu on an arcade adaptation of the NES/FDD/FDS port of the game, Kung Fu on a secondary arcade port of this game via the Nintendo Play-Choice 10 arcade system, and it was called Spartan X on the FDD/FDS, as the original game was based upon the Jackie Chan movie of the same name. Said movie was possibly called Meals on Wheels in American markets. Spartan X got a sequel, only this time, the graphics are updated, the characters look completely different, and the player goes from left to right instead of right to left as it is in this game.
