That was a really great video. Just dropped by because I have a M1 helmet with a 529th MP Co liner that was used by a soldier sometime in the mid 1960s to mid 1970s period, so twenty odd years after your Grandfather's time in Germany. I was a army brat in Germany in the 1970s and the 529th were stationed with the USAREUR HQ in Heidelberg.
