Question: do you think the Mimic will be somewhat of a hidden monster? As shown in series I will hide itself constantly. I wonder it it will have that as it's play style. Sneaking up on survivors.

Predictions for every monster teased in this video (Will be edited as time goes on):
*THE MIMIC*
Speed: 20
Stamina: 135
DMG: 25
Ability 1: Devour
- Lunges you forward a medium distance, if the ability lands successfully it will deal 20% of the players current HP as damage and regenerate a portion of your stamina.
- This damage cannot be healed back.
Ability 2: Blood Curdling Shriek
- Highlights the player with the most HP for 10 seconds and applies the “Hunted” status effect to that player.
- Other players cannot be attacked throughout the duration of the ability.
“Hunted” (Status Effect)
- Inflicted for 10 seconds.
- Darkens the screen of the selected survivor along with lowering their speed.
- With lowered stamina drain and high base stamina, The Mimic specializes in chasing survivors for prolonged periods. Try and shake it off as soon as possible!
- Blood Curdling Shriek will not affect you if you are the last remaining player.
*THE HOST OF INFLUENCE*
Speed: 13
Stamina: 75
DMG: 40
Ability 1: Spore Cloud
- Summons an very large AOE around The Host that dissipates after 25 seconds.
- If a survivor steps into this AOE, they will be inflicted with the “Parasitic Infection” status effect.
- 10 seconds will be added to the timer if The Host successfully infects a survivor.
Ability 2: Migration
- Increases speed by 100% but you are unable to attack players.
- The ability is active until canceled, and upon cancelation applies a 5 second cooldown to your basic attack and you first ability.
- Intended to be used as a way of quickly moving between different parts of the map to set up new ambush points.
“Parasitic Infection” (Status Effect):
- Slowly drains the infected survivors HP in the span of around 15 seconds, leaving the survivor with around 5 HP.
- After 15 seconds, the infected will automatically begin walking towards The Host. After reaching The Host, the player will be stunned for 3 seconds before being able to freely move again.
- The effect can be canceled if another survivor uses a Med-Kit on the infected survivor.
- The Host must strategically position itself into a well hidden spot in order to make the most use of it’s spore cloud, steer clear of any orange spore clouds and be wary of a lurking Host.
- Due to it’s low speed, The Host cannot effectively chase survivors. Instead relying on its second ability to move around.
*THE INK DEMON*
Speed: 22
Stamina: 100
DMG: 60
Ability 1: The Dark Puddles
- Spawn up to 2 ink puddles in any area of the map.
- The Ink Demon can traverse these puddles by holding E.
- If a third puddle is placed, it will absorb the oldest puddle.
Ability 2: Demonic Summon
- Spawn in Lost Ones depending on how many survivors are left in the match.
- Lost Ones will target a random survivor on the map immediately after spawning in.
Ability 3: Satan’s Wrath
- A flurry of claw swipes and bites, boosts the Ink Demons speed by 10 for the duration of the ability.
- Insta-kills if all 5 hits land on a survivor.
The Lost Ones (Extra Info):
- Spawns 1 Lost One for every 2 players (Max of 6 at a time)
- Lost Ones cannot be summoned during Last Man Standing
- Once a Lost One has selected its target, it will start running towards the chosen survivor. Dealing 10 damage and marking the survivor for 15 seconds, the Lost One will vanish into an ink puddle after the first hit lands.
- The Ink Demon can cover a lot of ground in a near instant thanks to its ink puddles, stay alert and avoid the puddles to not get ambushed.
- The Lost Ones cannot be damaged, however they can be outrun.
*SIREN HEAD*
Speed: 32
Stamina: 165
DMG: 100
Ability 1: Stalking Cloak
- While activated, Siren Head is almost completely invisible to all survivors.
- Lasts for 20 seconds, can be canceled early with your basic attack.
Ability 2: Bellowing Broadcast
- A long ranged stun AOE that causes the screens of nearby survivors to display a static effect overlaying their gameplay for 5 seconds.
- Cannot be countered and is basically a guaranteed death if exposed.
Siren Head (Extra Info):
- Double Trouble is not an option if the next monster is a Siren Head.
- Siren Head gets his own exclusive forest map with several cabins sprinkled throughout.
- As the objective, survivors must venture out and search for firewood to keep the bonfire in the center of the forest lit (The fire acts as a safe zone from Siren Head.)
- If the fire goes out, Siren Head can attack the survivors in the center of the map.
- While in the forest, survivors can hide in the cabins to prevent Siren Head from reaching them.
- Timer is much longer at 6 minutes.
- Siren Head is incredibly fast and can easily kill an unwary player, always be aware of your surroundings and try to prevent Siren Head from creeping up on you.
- Staying in groups is key, as multiple eyes can keep watch to make sure no group member is harmed or killed.
*SCP-096*
Speed: 24
Stamina: INF
DMG: 50
Ability 1: Gangling Gallop
- Boosts 096’s speed by 10 for 5 seconds.
Ability 2: Sorrowful Scream
- Marks all survivors on the map for the duration of the ability (about 7 seconds)
Passive: Mindless Rage
- If a survivor looks in 096's direction, it will activate its “Rage State” Permanently highlighting the survivor as well as giving 096 the ability to attack said survivor (but it cannot attack any other survivors), these effects last until the survivor is killed.
- Unless this passive ability has been activated, 096 cannot attack survivors.
- 096 cannot be outran, death is guaranteed if you activate its Rage State.
- To avoid looking at 096, and thus sealing your fate, stay away from any signs of 096’s presence (Dead bodies, sobbing, etc.)
*SLENDERMAN*
Speed: 19
Stamina: 115
DMG: 35
Ability 1 - Ensnaring Tentacles
- Shoots 2 of Slenderman’s tentacles foward a long distance, if a tentacle makes contact with a survivor it will constrict them and pull them into attack range.
- If no survivor is ensnared, the tentacles will retract and put the ability on cooldown.
Ability 2: Teleportation
- Teleport to a survivor of your choice, if you manage to kill the survivor in under 5 seconds it will mark all survivors for a medium duration.
Passive: Pyro-kinesis
- When a survivor is killed, a blue flame will engulf the corpse and get rid of the body.
- This will not list the survivor as deceased, and instead keep their light green.
whenever I hear the words "the mimic" I instantly just get flashbacks to the roblox game the mimic
If mimic ever gets added atp he will probably have shapeshift ability but it would be inperfect (He will be a bit taller than survivors and his arms are a bit longer)

Blade (the main developer) stated a while back that each monster will be completely unique in some way (Specifically mechanic wise) That way it would make both using and going up against a certain monster more entertaining for both sides instead of each monster just being a copy and paste of each others gameplay and features.
I’m not saying your idea is bad, but it just might not end up in the actual game.

im wondering how the host of influence will even work because if i remember correctly in vita carnis it barely even moves and only attacks by sending spores that travel and infect nearby people so im wondering if they will somehow adapt that into gameplay or if it'll just be like a regular monster but either way it's still cool
The monsters I’m genuinely excited for are (yes they are ordered from what I’m looking forward to the most): the ink demon (I’m such a big bendy fan omfg), Sirenhead (Trevor Henderson is good, hope cartoon cats gonna be added later), sonic.exe (be fr, who doesn’t like him), slenderman (just like sonic.exe, who doesn’t like him)

Cartoon cat is not being added blade does not want him or the monster from “I heard it too” in pillar chase. Also Blade has shown dislike to the poppy playtime series as a whole so it’s not likely something from that will be added.

Ab1: Have him place balloons that float on their own around the map. If ur near it, it’ll pop which alerts pennywise.
Ab2. He can grab you and proceed to open his mouth showing the deadlights like the movie . You gotta spam click a bar to show ur not scared since he feeds on fear. 20 sec timer, if you fill the bar you survive, if you don’t you die.
Death animation: he grabs you then Have him take out his sharp teeth as his eyes roll to the sides & bites ur heart out. everytime a person dies have them float
