السلام علیکم مفتی صاحب. جب آپ دبئی یا پاکستان سے اڑے تھے تو آپ دنیا کے شمال کی طرف سے گۓ تھے اور جب سورج غروب کے قریب تھا تو آپ کو جہاز سورج کی اس لائن پر تھا جہاں دن اور رات کا وقت تبدیل ہو رہا تھا. اسی لیے غروب ہونے کے بعد جہاز سورج کے کے اصلی وقت پر پہنچا

This is because when you saw the sun at sunset, your plane will have just taken off and your altitude has not changed.
Then the plane ascended high and being quite high above the ground, you also got the sun above the ground and you could see most of it. And you assumed it as sunrise.
This is due to the increase in the point of view angle with the Earth's horizon.
It is the same way you see the sun and the moon moving with you on a high-speed train. In the same way, when we move above and below in the plane, we see the sun moving with us and we confuse it with sunrise or sunset
The Muslim Ummah need Immam/ Masjid heads like Dr. Salman Sheikh that values both Deen and Duniya education. The biggest reason why our ummah is such state of misery is because because empty vessel/ jahael/ uneducated/ hate filled people take the positions in running masjid or Islamic schools. Allah has made Duniya Halal as well but these religious leaders exploit our religion due to their own jaheel mindset, using religion as an excuse. Thank you Immam Dr. Salman for showing the right way of practicing Islam and respecting the Duniya obligations as well.
Jazakallah khair for your kind and important note. I seek forgiveness from Allah swt to my harsh tone. I am just frustrated by our Muslim leadership (not necessarily by Tariq Masood) and by several Muslim men and women of our Ummah who has destroyed our religion especially for last 100 years and establish being uneducated, unemployed is part of our Deen and remaining hostile towards “duniya” is something that our religion teaches to practice.

Phil along side and all of the other students are either doing MBBS or is a student or professional, not a single student is just studying Deen, we all are studying deen and Dunya together, you should check the qualifications of our Ulama then .... Tareeq Masood is very popular Islamic scholar from Pakistan and millions of Pakistani people follow him BUT he doesn’t even know time zones, latitudes/ longitude, operate the tv screen on Qatar airways (navigation page) to understand the time difference and reason why sun was present for long time. Tariq Masood doesn’t even know the plane was flying north. Looking at the globe and asking stupid questions. Asking if same person married twice or two different people got married separately after seeing the school auditorium. Is this the education level of an Islamic leader from Pakistan? This only reflects what kind of society he lives in. These are basic 8th grade level education courses

اسکی وجہ یہ ہے کہ جب آپ نے مغرب کے وقت سورج کو دیکھا تو ابھی آپکے جہاز نے اڑان بھری ہوُگی اور اتنی اونچائی پر نہیں گیا ھو گا۔
پھر جہاز بلد ھوتا رہا اور سطح زمین سے کافی بلند ھونے کو وجہ سے آپُکو سورج بھی سطح زمین سے بلند ھوتا ھوا اور اسکا زیادہ حصہ نظر آنے لگا ۔ اور آپُکو لگا کہ sunrise ہو رہا ہے۔
