They(Makoto Ayukawa and HAL-CA) were born in Kurume city, Fukuoka in japan.
Fukuoka is famous music city in japan.
Makoto Ayukawa is the guitarist for the band 『Sonhouse』, which created rock music in Fukuoka.
In 1978, he made a band『Sheena and the Rokkets』with her wife. And moved to Tokyo.
And then he toured Japan with Elvis Costello.
Yukihiro Takahashi saw the show and invited him to join YMO(Yellow Magic Orchestra).
Makoto Ayukawa plays guitar 『SOLID STATE SURVIVOR』 and 『DAY TRIPPER』.
Since then, Sheena and Rokkets has become one of the most famous rock bands in Japan.
    He passed away in 2023.
Japanese Guitar Magazine mourned him as Japan's most beloved rock and roll guitarist.
Take a look at his Les Paul Custom.
It's the guitar he's used as his main guitar for 45 years, since 1978.
There are probably very few musicians in the world who have used the same guitar for such a long time.
This video is like Keith Richards performing with his grandson.
A collaboration between the legendary guitarist and a young genius girl.

Hal-Ca is not only technically great guitarist and great song composer, and now we are witnessing she also great on live improvisation. glad I'm still alive witnessing a born of a guitar goddess.
RIP Makoto Ayukawa, I'm not knew him but he seems important part of Japan music scene.

To all overseas ASTERISM fans who do not know Makoto Ayukawa.
SHEENA & THE ROKKETS, Makoto Ayukawa is a great Japanese guitarist and vocalist.
This video is uploaded for all Sinaloquet fans to watch.
Sorry for the shaky camera shake, I was so moved by the video.
    Sinaloquet is eternal.
We pray for the repose of Makoto Ayukawa's soul.

@@one0nine I imagine it was a loaner of some kind from the band. They are well-known as being great durable pedal-platform amps.

    Rest in peace, Makoto Ayukawa.
This joint performance was about 5 years ago in Kyushu, their hometown.
Thanks Takako san for the rare video.
Since it was 5 years ago, Hal-ka was around 15 years old at that time.
Ayukawa was about 70 years old, so the age difference between the two of them was more than 50 years.
This is more like a competition between a grandfather and a granddaughter than a father and daughter.
It is an on-stage performance by Grandfather Makoto, who has been playing rock music for nearly 50 years in Kyushu, Japan, and granddaughter, who is now playing rock music in Kyushu.
It is a miracle that can be realized because the Japanese rock scene has a long history of more than 60 years since its birth, just like in the West.
