Just received mine yesterday. Played it for a few hours just going through a fraction of the presets. It has a lot going on. The Korg synth that it reminds me most of is the MS-2000. Seems like a major upgrade of that machine with a Kaoss pad thrown in. I like it a lot!
@@buscrates412 yep thats mainly also my problem already, and i have with Hydrasynth Deluxe and Behringer UBx 2 Keyboards with polyaftertouch.. The keys from the Korg are then nonsens for me.. So hope they bring out that soon. Also price sure then bit lower for module like the others so 675... .
this looks like a lot of fun. the only thing about all these new product intros is i'm afraid to pull the trigger or "Schwing die Huefe", if you will, at any given moment because i have no idea of what is next. i almost bought the whole rack, but now i'm not going to. as of right now, new plan: old wavestate is good now for just complex sequences, will remove the keybed and wait for at least this in module form and at least 1 software rev. i'm also still a bit bummed re: wavestate v1.0 upgrade nightmare, the odd sized and garbage keybed form factor. velocity sensitive means you have to PLAY the keyboard. wtf were yall thinking with that cheap toy keybed?. my kromeEX73 has a great keybed and it is barely more expensive than these toy boxes including insanely more power and features and size. they are all digital boxes so why so cheap quality on this series?
You bring up a good point. i have a 1st gen wavestate and i was going to replace it with the 3-module rack. BUT now do i even want a new wavestate or a modwave? also, we have an advantage because we know the 4 layer, and how the lanes work which makes it even more tempting to me. but it has to be a module. this form factor sucks. a baby workstation needs way more keys so a module gives users the choice of controller
@@jjrusy7438 Lots of reviews are saying the workflow on this is complex but I look at the videos and it looks totally obvious and actually the perfect mix of subtractive synthesis and Wavestate
You should not use an exclamation mark, but a question more. Furthermore Behringer is already working on a faithful representation of the original. i just might be interested too.

What a beautiful synth, both in looks as well as features. I think this may become my first Korg synth after all these years.
same here.
+1, ordered mine. First Korg!
Der Klang ist einfach unglaublich! Gute Arbeit Korg.
Is there a Module planned soon as well ?? I have the other 3 all in module, so that were great have this also in module.
Came here to ask the same thing. I have enough keyboards lol.

Surely there will be.
+1 i hate the 1st gen wavestate form factor and too small garbage keybed. the sound is great but,
I'll wait for the vst version 😊
All the negatives have to leave their useless comment. Keep it moving, that’s all. We don’t care if you don’t like or want it.
This Korg gonna distroy da Hydra synth
As an Opsix and Wavestate owner, this looks amazing. It sounds amazing. I hope to get one of these soon. . Does it have a Ranomizer on it?
You can see that button in this video on top right, left of effects section
we need mr dataline for this machine!
Make an experimental sounds demo please :)
Can the sequencer loop on its own with out holding down the key
There's a "Hold" button on the top left, so yes
@ thank you. I’m really thinking about picking this up.

Anyone want to buy my Wavestate, this is looking more and more like the device I've always wanted.

Looks like a "pimpedup" modwave... and the editor too... I'll stay by my modwave, don't need this Thing!!!
Just give us a MonoPoly reissue please !Just give us a MonoPoly reissue please !

Why?
I'm sorry but it's the same old boring format. Small synth same old look. Not one bit interested.
Then don't buy it👍
