I love Richard's voice!! Some characters could speak with a bit more emotion in some places, but overall very enjoyable. :) I'm listening as I read along for my Shakespeare class. Thanks for doing this!

They shouldn't have used Americans voice actors.

Yasss i finished this in one day. So nice to have this. As a non English actor trying to learn more about English pronunciation and of course Shakespeare’s plays, this is perfect.

About Shakespeare's plays, yes, but about English pronunciation is debatable.
Don't get me wrong, I love listening to Librivox and have done so forever, however, what you have to keep in mind is, that this is read by volunteers from all over the globe, some of them not being native speakers either. Granted, the majority, as far as I could discern, are native American English speakers and do a fabulous job, but whether that is really helpful with learning pronunciation in regards to classical British literature and plays is another matter.
As said, I really like listening to Librivox for pleasure, but I read your comment and got kind of concerned, for lack of a better word. I just don't want you to run into any proverbial daggers, so to say. The pronunciation between British and American English is, after all, a pretty big one at times (depending on the accent). With listening to Shakespeare and wanting to learn the correct pronunciation, it might be better to try and find professional recordings with a British cast.
On that sideline, it might interest you, that between the pronunciation used in the plays today and during Shakespeare's times, there are actually aeons. Since a couple of years ago, there are frequent performances at the Globe Theatre in London, where the (recreated) historical pronunciation is used.
      Anyway, break a leg! :)

I enjoyed this and I thank you for it. Nevertheless, having a woman or girl do a boy’s voice is one thing, but having a woman read a man’s part is another. In the spirit of the immortal bard: Methinks such seeming political correctness nonsense be.

while I appreciate the effort made, it clearly demonstrates what happens when you have unskilled actors read Shakespeare. These actors are unskilled in performing Shakespeare and in many cases don't even understand what they are reading.

Why does Richard III opening monologue in Act 1 Scene 1 is different from the film. In the film his dialogue changes after 'and dogs barks at me as I halt by them.' It then says 'my love forswears me in my mothers womb' and shrink his armour / disproprotioned in every part / and lines about thorns and axe to hew it down, and how to get the crown he will pluck it down. It goes on for 3 more minutes or so, none of which is in the play. My query is, where the hell did all this additional verbiage come from. The film writer's own head???
