Loïc Jaillet - Reminiscences Gone Astray

J'ai essayé une approche un peu différente que mes deux morceaux précédents, avec ici une sorte de diptyque.
La première partie s'inspire de l'intro de "Bloody Well Right" de Supertramp, et la deuxième partie a une atmosphère plus prog rock, influencée par Pink Floyd (je me suis rendu compte en écrivant que la progression d'accords est similaire à celle des couplets dans "Echoes" : i - v - VI - V pour ce morceau, i - v - iv - V pour Echoes).
Le titre est quand à lui tiré des paroles de "Book of Saturday" de King Crimson.

I tried a slightly different approach than my two previous pieces, with a sort of diptych.
The first part is inspired by the intro to Supertramp's "Bloody Well Right", and the second part has a more prog rock feel, influenced by Pink Floyd (I realized while writing that the chord progression is similar to that of the verses in "Echoes": i - v - VI - V for this piece, i - v - iv - V for Echoes).
The title is taken from the lyrics of “Book of Saturday” by King Crimson.
