for icejade searcher, this is kind of complicate, but I used trap card "Ice Barrier" where the GY effect is to send 1 level 5 or higher water to GY and then add 1 water monster from GY to hand. sound long but it just indirectly mean " banish this card from GY and add 1 Water monster from deck to your hand"

You should Use spingirl/ Blue tang for linking summon Sea angel, to chain block ash, pascalus + either of the two will give u field unless they have moonlit/imperm/veiler

Upgrade for what tho? Marincess or Icejade? Icejade maybe a little bit, but the actual Icejade part here looks/seems a bit half-assed. Marincess? Definitive no, playing Marincess in any way other than pure is like going to a gunfight with only a knife. It's technically possible but you make all your chances of winning (or even surviving) the whole encounter effectively and purposefully smaller towards non-existent

The current meta really feels like its shafting water decks. I can't play sh*t without getting hit with 3 negates, banish whatever is sent to the gy or being maxx C'd every time I tried to use Ran for a basically assured draw 2 min for my opponent, 3 min if you go through with the token. (like seriously? restrict Maxx already! Its been the meta for too long!)
