- Join Samuel @BluegrassBackcountry and I, as we celebrate Christmas with a trip to Natural Bridge State Park and Cowboy camp near one of our favorite arches!
PLEASE NOTE: Backcountry camping is NOT ALLOWED in Natural Bridge State Park. We left the park boundaries and hiked a few miles down the Sheltowee Trace and camped within the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Loved the video Nick ! I’ve never been to RRG just get to visit whenever you or Samuel post a video. The arches and rock formations are so intriguing and beautiful ! The bloopers were 👍🏻especially the one at the end Thelma and Louise special 😉😂😂

Wish I could have been there! This looked like a pleasant, mostly-relaxing trip, haha. I like the morning sunlight on both days, that awesome shot of Natural Bridge at 2:04 with the dark foreground trees, the sunset, the lazy flakes of snow while you were curled up in your sleeping bag, the Christmas music (Auld Lang Syne!), and of course the bloopers. I was hoping you'd hold hands at Lover's Leap, and I was not disappointed 🤣🤣 Thanks for bringing me along on a trip that I wasn't able to make! And thanks for another great video.

Great one, brother! I love all the punch in shots of the trail signs and zoom ins to Natty Bridge from afar. That was a fun way to camp for a night! Who says a guy can’t stay warm in a 30F bag?! And I forgot about all those bloopers I left you 🙈. Can’t wait for the next adventure!!

GREAT shots throughout this whole video! Snowflakes are so pretty (as long as I'm not outside with them) and the close up shots of moss and other things were quite nice as well. I don't hold wih popular opinion on this being a Thelma and Louise style ending though. It's more like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid jumping into the river - except they both still had all their hair.
