New to the channel. Who cuts these trails and for what purpose? Just for the animals or are they used for something else? Also do the moose have more to eat than just these few twigs? Certainly that can’t sustain them thru the winter. Just trying to learn some things. Thanks for sharing all the beautiful videos.
Tom Arnold These trails and cameras are all on my personal property. I cut and groom the trails for access around the property, cross country skiing and dog sledding. The animals take full advantage of the firm trails. This time of year the moose are mainly eating twigs and bark off the Birch and Willow trees. Not much else exposed for them.
Trail cam followed along with the bull moose, and wondered what cam that was.. great video and the moose ate whatever was in reach.. Now watching a deer here in WI pick away at brush, even looks to be eating spruce boughs. Yuk! Snow about 10" deep, about 20 deg F
