personally I think it was great but they probably did it so they'd get more viewers on 7x01 as everyone wants to know who it is (sorry for my bad English)
I don't get why people say the season was a let down. It was epic. We see Carol struggle and Morgan makes a major development saving her by breaking his vow and the first official step towards the Kingdom. With Rick we see just how dangerous the Saviors really are and they are captured much better than they were in the comics. The ending is also a major cliffhanger that guarantees a viewing of the next season premier.

One of my all time favourite Walking Dead episodes loved the scene when Ricks crew and Simons crew faced off, I really loved how you could feel the tension in the air between both groups, like someone was about to take action, yet not a single bullet was fired, they talked to each other in a civil manner.

That episode would of been one of, if my favourite episode if they just ended if with all the group looking at the beaten corpse of one of the loved members of the group and that be the cliffhanger!
The build up was perfect, the entire episodes atmosphere was sooo unsettling and needed to have the perfect pay off it easily could of done!
I am a huge fan but all I can think of is this was only used for views when it comes back in October which I honestly think it will do the opposite! The cliff hanger of having the death would of brought people back and brought people in!!!!!!
