Procedure for working on low volume for editor of Bayyinah videos. 1. open the video in premiere pro. 2. Right click on the audio. 3. Click on audio gain and a popup will open. 4. Audio Gain box should be checked and set the value to 30 Db or accordingly. 5. click ok and listen the video to check the level of audio. 6. once satisfied go to end of video. Press "O". The video will be selected. 7. press "ctrl M" and export the video. 8. Upload video on youtube. Thank you

Actually the first time ustad made juz amma thafseer it had the same issue.i had to find a place and time with 0 noise so as to hear the lecture.But,I tell you that was the best thing that ever happened in my life.May be I should try the old technic andfimd peace .
It's so easy to say what is good, but it's even more difficult to forbid evil and save others from falling into sin, besides from trying to fall into sin myself. Then Surah asr hit me, were all drowning unless we enjoin good and forbid evil for each other. May Allah give us the confidence to do so

Notes: Surah Al-Asr [103] explains that all human beings are losing time and commands 4 x requirements to achieve success; 1. To have firm faith in one's heart and to fulfill the requirements of faith. 2. To perform righteous deeds - they are described and prioritised for us as we do not get to choose them. 3. To advise one another to follow the truth. 4. To counsel one another to be patient in adversity. • Points 3 and 4 are commonly forgotten / overlooked good deeds. • Human beings by nature don’t like being corrected and sometimes don’t like hearing the truth. • When you advise and give counsel, you must be prepared to receive advice and counsel also. • Points 3 and 4 are also reminders as people are forgetful. • Have patience when you repeatedly give counsel as people; a) Are forgetful. b) Can take time to change. c) Allah (swt) is extremely patience with us. So we should be patient towards others. Our approach needs to reflect this understanding. • Every act of worship must be done with humility towards Allah (swt).

ooo strong one 4 items good way to look at it on Surah ASR often we tend to do bare-minimum and do 2 half heartly but Surah ASR defines whether we r winning or losing in this age of loss. ABCD analogy is perfect, now we can remind ourselves this. Also If Boss gives us warning n say ABCD n we dont, we get fired! but imagine Allah? he told us abcd n most often we/humans don't right away or we delay or take our time absorbing it.. what IF allah would FIRE US? who/what can save us but his mercy? So this tells us Allah is such a kind b0ss, who is ever patient, letting slide lot of of wrong-doings and has kept us employed n continues to pay us salary (sustainence) soo again, this is heart hitting, ABCD task analogy from workplace, sold me N it's easy to remember. oo another thing that hit me was, being patient with someone whom u constantly remind n remind n remind n they repeat. generally we like to go arghhhhhhhhhhhhh and perhaps slap them (kids) or get super angry.. here in lecture u mention, u are to remind them even if they forget n remind n remind n remind, so if we remember we r doing this for Allah n it will count as ibadah, then our anger will diminish n we'll remember this surah asr verse, about reminding people. Also quran verse n remind them for reminder benefits the believers is direct command of Allah.. So lets keep our patience when we are about to lose our marbles or if someone is aggrevating us, calm down.. they r giving u opportunity to be patient (earn good deed) pay them in smile (sadaqah) instead of acting angry (trait of shaitaan).

My mother inlaw has a despicably abusive behaviour (over 30 yrs) with each of her 4 daughter-in-laws; Problem is all of her sons are overly supportive of this. None of the wives have any dignity in their lives; are clearly told they are there to do her and her daughters’ khidmat if they want to stay married. One childless daughter-in-law has been kicked out of the home for 1.5 years now; (23 yrs ago i was); no one has contact ( except me, i live in Canada and was born here) and her husband doesnt either nor does he give expenses. Their condition is her servitude to MIL while he marries a 2nd wife. Ive tried your approach but no one listens; to the extent my own husband said for me not to care about it. I am soo distraught, i cannot believe all this and the type of man he is to say this. He prays but is equally over-obedient. I am unable to contain myself and the reality of living the rest of my life with these types of people. Its too much for me to accept a life like this and be a ‘partner’. I have said all this to him over the past few yrs; yesterday was my limit and hv asked fir a divorce. Am praying...

I've requested several times for something to be done about the sound. It's off putting because I can't hear well. Usually I benefit immensely from this brother's lectures, but lately, sound quality has been very poor.

He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12] There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah. As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). “Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33] As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33] أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… Do not ever leave istighfar! Please share and remember that you will receive the reward for all those who make istighfar, due to your reminder. Astaghfirullaaha wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayhi. I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.” [Al-‘Anbya’ 87] Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said about the Invocation of Yunus “None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah would relieve him of his difficulty.” [At-Tirmidhi] Nooh (A.S) asked for the forgiveness of Allaah The Almighty, repenting by saying: Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen [11:47] “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.” (Surat Hūd, 11: 47) We must recite this dua’a to have full faith in the wisdom of Allah under all good and bad circumstances because Allah is all-knowing; and humbly seek His help to keep ourselves on the right path. Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni. (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me). Say: Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilayhi It says in hadith, whoever says it seven times his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield. Say: SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi Whoever says it hundred times, his sins will be forgiven even though they may be as much as the foam of the sea. Say: la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah lahul mulku wa lahaul hamdu wa huwa a la kuli shay’in qadeer. And say other forms of repentance that are prescribed by Allah. oo another thing that hit me was, being patient with someone whom u constantly remind n remind n remind n they repeat. generally we like to go arghhhhhhhhhhhhh and perhaps slap them (kids) or get super angry.. here in lecture u mention, u are to remind them even if they forget n remind n remind n remind, so if we remember we r doing this for Allah n it will count as ibadah, then our anger will diminish n we'll remember this surah asr verse, about reminding people. Also quran verse n remind them for reminder benefits the believers is direct command of Allah.. So lets keep our patience when we are about to lose our marbles or if someone is aggrevating us, calm down.. they r giving u opportunity to be patient (earn good deed) pay them in smile (sadaqah) instead of acting angry (trait of shaitaan).

People - please stop complaining about the sound quality! As someone else has commented, it is still quarantine period. Plus NAK does not owe us anything. Eventually, sound quality will improve. Just be patient. We’ll get to hear many more brilliant lectures from him in GREAT AUDIO QUALITY - it’ll come! IA

My mother inlaw has a despicably abusive behaviour (over 30 yrs) with each of her 4 daughter-in-laws; Problem is all of her sons are overly supportive of this. None of the wives have any dignity in their lives; are clearly told they are there to do her and her daughters’ khidmat if they want to stay married. One childless daughter-in-law has been kicked out of the home for 1.5 years now; (23 yrs ago i was); no one has contact ( except me, i live in Canada and was born here) and her husband doesnt either nor does he give expenses. Their condition is her servitude to MIL while he marries a 2nd wife. Ive tried your approach but no one listens; to the extent my own husband said for me not to care about it. I am soo distraught, i cannot believe all this and the type of man he is to say this. He prays but is equally over-obedient. I am unable to contain myself and the reality of living the rest of my life with these types of people. Its too much for me to accept a life like this and be a ‘partner’. I have said all this to him over the past few yrs; yesterday was my limit and hv asked fir a divorce. Am praying...

I've requested several times for something to be done about the sound. It's off putting because I can't hear well.
Usually I benefit immensely from this brother's lectures, but lately, sound quality has been very poor.
When a black body goes bloody on pavement , I remind myself , The most told story in the Qur'an is of a dark skin man who fought against systematic oppression. This reminds me , That for Black folk a heartbeat is just as much a miracle as the splitting of a red sea. Ain't a heart beat just the splitting of a Red Sea?

►Istighfar relieves you when you feel that sadness within you, when you are disturbed and frustrated, and also when anxiety surrounds you. Always say Astaghfirullah Astaghfirullah…

A man once came to
al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.”
He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).”
Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied:
“Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?”
Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “
Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12]
There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah.
The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains.
As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). “Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33]
As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33] أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله…
Do not ever leave istighfar!

Astaghfirullaaha wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayhi.
I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him.
(Recite one hundred times during the day)
It was reported in Saheeh Muslim that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: “I seek forgiveness one hundred times in a day.” [Muslim]
Du'a for seeking forgiveness:
Dua of Prophet Adam (A.S.)
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen [7:23]
”Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost."
رَبَّنا ظَلَمنا أَنفُسَنا وَإِن لَم تَغفِر لَنا وَتَرحَمنا لَنَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ
[SURAH AL-A`RAF, VERSE 23]
Du'a of Yunus (A.S) repenting to Allah in the belly of the whale:
“
LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNY KUNTU MINATHAULIMEEN” [21:87]
“There is none worthy of worship except You. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.” [Al-‘Anbya’ 87]
Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said about the Invocation of Yunus “None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah would relieve him of his difficulty.” [At-Tirmidhi]
Nooh (A.S) asked for the forgiveness of Allaah The Almighty, repenting by saying:
Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen [11:47]
“My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.” (Surat Hūd, 11: 47)
We must recite this dua’a to have full faith in the wisdom of Allah under all good and bad circumstances because Allah is all-knowing; and humbly seek His help to keep ourselves on the right path.
Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni.
(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).
Say: Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilayhi
It says in hadith, whoever says it seven times his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield.
Say: SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi
Whoever says it hundred times, his sins will be forgiven even though they may be as much as the foam of the sea.
Say: la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah lahul mulku wa lahaul hamdu wa huwa a la kuli shay’in qadeer.
And say other forms of repentance that are prescribed by Allah.
ALLAH HAS FULL ABILITY TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT! AND ONLY HE (ALLAH) HAS THAT ABILITY.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy.
If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication).
He becomes shy to return them empty.” [Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi]
Assalamun aleykum, since I watch your lectures I catch myself looking down on others (because my subconsciousness tells me that, since I watched a few lectures/khutbahs, I know so much and I'm so perfect, which I am totally not).
