Yup, Jim normally looked for the good in just about every presentation. He has great admiration for people that are willing to give it a go. But he absolutely hated people who come in, act smarter that everyone in the room and expect the investors to fork over cash because of it.
Jim laid into that guy and that's the only time I've seen him do that. Good on Jim. That guy avoided the money issue because he knew he had no business model. What a joke.
He was rather harsh about it, though. Why did he feel so insulted? Then when the guy apologized, Jim wasn't even gracious enough to accept the apology. I am not saying the product was good or bad, just that Jim was, indeed, rude. I'm glad Arlene and that other guy (sorry, I forgot his name - maybe Bruce) said something.
@@goodfty The guy apologized. What was Jim's problem? He's not gracious enough to accept an apology. I'm glad Jim's perfect and has never made a mistake in his life (sarcasm intended). No, I'm not easily manipulated by narcissists. I can just treat people with kindness, whether they are kind or not in return.
in my own personal experience, I lost 90 pounds in about a year and a half just by cutting portions while I was still eating what I wanted. I also exercised a lot! Counting calories? Hell no!
@@oneheadlight8000You obviously know nothing. Denmark is doing so much better than the USA, very low crime, high standard of living, even though I pay a high tax, I have 2 houses, one right down to the water and we have 2 cars. Free healthcare, free Educations. 😊
That first dude was a complete moron. First of all he comes off dishonest or at the very least he’s embellishing his claims. However he doesn’t seem to know much about nutrition and helping people. Everyone is different but he’s trying to make it a homogenous process. Just a horrible horrible idea, plan and business (if you can even call it that). At the start Kevin asks him how to make money. He’s like “I knew you would ask that” like he has some amazing skills of foresight or something. DUHHHH you’re pitching a business. OBVIOUSLY they are going to ask “how do we make money”. Especially on this idea where there are no obvious signs of how to make money.
Everyone handles unnatural diets differently to varying degrees. However all people are the same. Eat animal food, cut out carbs and you'll be healthy.
I don't understand how this version of the Dragon/Shark Tank shows constantly makes fun of the people coming in. Most of them just need guidance. Makes Canadians look like idiots and clowns! We never see that kind of negative and derogatory comments from any Sharks or Quebec Dragons! Even O'Leary is being nicer as a shark!
That Michael Dragon is the worst of the bunch. he's a Main Character... I can't believe he played the Harmonica to usher the last person out, what a joke.
when O'Leary says he wants to invoice him for his time... lol
Wish this show was still on Netflix!!!
Agreed!
❤
Jim in the first one 😂
I agree with him though eh
It's rare to see Jim pissed off like that

Jim is one of the best parts of the show. Talks when needed and cuts through the bs. Should have been a Shark to like Robert and Kevin.
W Dragon’s Den Friday upload!
Cheers 🥂

@@susangraham1203 I bet you get manipulated easily by narcissists. Jim doesn't.

The book dude needs to make an app of it with proven results.
If these are the top 3, I'd hate to see the bottom 3.
Its Canada...Not a lot of good business coming out of socialism.

The first guys are literally a google search. What an absolute joke.
What Not one deal made - top 3 wellness pitches.. Makes sense.
This is "Highest valuation wellness products," not "Top wellness products."

So do video creators get something for liking every comment, good or bad?

I do tend to agree with you, but I have seen nastiness on the American Shark Tank version and definitely, some from Kevin.
How’s this the top three?! Not one shark was in any one of them! LOL

Jims really weird! Wish I sued his Mr. Lube shop! I could have been killed!
How are chiropractors able to call themselves “Dr”?
